I'm a Gemmy Animatronic + Road Ripper collector (some other stuff too) and an artist that draws anything cute for fun mainly.
I enjoy Pokemon and Sanrio for some reason...
Cute makes me happy. Lol

Favorite Frogz in my collection as of now. (You can tell by how worn the button pad is that I like this.) 💀
Even though I overpaid a bit for this one..
This one is very quiet in person too and I don't know if that's just with mine.
This one I got back in 2017 off ebay for I believe like $40.
Back then, this Frogz was extremely hard to find, now it's not really... but still kinda is...
The frog came fully working, WITH THE ORIGINAL BATTERIES STILL WORKING! And they've never really been changed until a few months ago. 🤣
For years I never noticed it was missing a ring on his finger. 😅

Released on January 2005 This is the first release of the Celebration Frogz with 2 motors for the movements. Gen 2 only has a single motor. And yes, they released a specific one to not have the red hat. It's even counted like that on the official Frogz checklist. The relay in it's head is now fixed. It would not want to work normally with the skin for some stupid reason, I added a piece of foam to the plastic part that hits the switch, and that seemed to do the job. I could be able to fix the broken flowers you have. I had a pair of these Gemmy dancing poinsettias that refused to go up and down, so I opened it up, and as it turns out, sometimes the motors fall out of place or a crucial wire displaces itself as most wires are hot glued and not securely placed. I used to have the dancing Poinsettia ones that I used to be OBSESSED WITH because I was young and my mom sat me down and let me use it to see how long I would go with it. She stopped me at 4 HOURS. Fun fact: the reason they are all pitched differently is because of the “pitch resistor”. The resistor is set at 300 ohms but it has a 5% tolerance, meaning that the actual value could be 285 - 315. This results in the small pitch differences we see.
