Building websites without software dependencies ... just like grandma did.
It's a podcast with some related "how to" videos. It follows long term WordPress users David Waumsley and Nathan Wrigley as they attempt to catch up on all the exciting changes that have recently been coming to the web platform.
Mostly it is about designing resilient websites with HTML, CSS and maybe a smidge of JavaScript (if we must).
The focus is on web standard and doing things right for good accessibility and performance... but we will see about that!

Long-term WordPress user tries building with 11ty (a Static Site Generator)
As WordPress user we know how to build dynamic sites. We know next to nothing about Static Site Generators and the Jamstack. Here we rebuild a HTML site with 11ty (Eleventy). We also look at adding a CMS.
As an experiment for this show we decided to try a static approach using the 11ty (a javascript based static site generator).
