Canoe to Mini Bass Boat
Просмотров 20 тыс.4 года назад
This is a 15ft old town square back canoe, that we turned into a mini bass boat in 2 days. There are two hatch compartments, one small one in the back for the marine battery and a big one in the front for random stuff you don’t want to look at or get in your way. There is 3 rod holders and we also picked up a throttle extender. Music: Broccoli(feat.lil yachty). 3Xtreme Taylor mcClam Thank you g...
Crap 💩 music couldnt be fkd watching your 💩
Literally the best video there is! Thanks
Have You thought about adding outrigger pontoons fo more stability? I have a similar build in My head. Great Video
Thanks very helpful 👍
🇨🇦👍
Why close the bucket?
A lot of PDR videos I've watch heat the paint with a heat gun before the pull so the paint doesn't crack, they also use IPA to remove the hot glue. I think you do a really good job. I'll have to check to see if HF still sells this kit.
Harbor frieght and auto zone have those clips
Saw a kid on our local lake do that ...fell off being distracted , and his boat putt , putt , putt , putt ed away .......
He was Definitely on a mission that morning 👍
Thanks for sharing this
Acetone ??? UH NO !!
Terrible music
Question, did you purchase the black OEM grill just to get the grill surround?
Nice job But standing up. But standing up will. Still flip you in a heartbeat. Put some out riggers on it
good simple diy structure, thanks
Do your amber lights turn on with the drl? Mine only come on with the headlights
Sweet
Where did you order ,i cant find in amazon
are these lights hard to replace when they burn out?
Im curious as to what put that dent there as thats a strong support for the top but it didnt chip the paint.
Does it say anything about removing dents and cellulite dimples from my exes fat ass? If so i thought it would make a great christmas gift and show her i have no bad feelings toward he.
The dent doesn’t look any better brother
They have push tabs at lowes
Files are directional
Thanks so much for the guide! Just installed mine. For anyone wondering how to make them static without running your headlights, run wire through your firewall and plug in to the 15 fuse for your ignition. Stay on all the time!
Have you ever had a problem with the raptor lights staying on once the truck is off? I’ve heard that is a problem with wiring it so that they stay on all the time. And would it drain the battery quite a bit to have them on all the time? If you can answer any of these questions it would be much appreciated!
@@jakewebb9417 nope! If it’s ran to your ignition it’s only on when the ignition is activated, or remote started.
Do you have a video of you doing this. I’d love one do this with my ambers but feel like I’d mess this up real quick

This kit while good for the money will not fix smaller dents near edges of wheels or on double walled metal it is primarily for thin sheet metal in the middle of a large area otherwise the glue will not hold you'd be better of using gorilla glue letting it set and then dealing with getting that off the hot glue is very weak even after it sits a while
I have a quest the official grill on tscoma trd pro 2015 which one of these??? Please
Does this kit work on dents on roof rails?
💯
i have one but it dont work
Very good job! You made me cringe at 6:19, watch those fingers bud! I know some times you gotta make do with the tools you got around you, but I was thinking a hole saw attachment for drill vs using a router/file would have been easier for the rod holders. Good fishing!
Thanks. But curious as to how the heck did you get a dent up there? Jc
Those stupid fake raptor lights are so cringe 😬
Here is the deal..... this tool works to a degree.....With that said, I have had two dents that I worked on that I was just not happy with. So....I have a local Pro Dent repair place in my hometown. Both times I have brought dents in for repair, they said I "over pulled" the dent....made it worse.....lol. I mean, it looked better to me, but, the pro's said I jacked it up. So....... beware
Do the raptor lights only turn on when the headlights are on? Will they turn on with just the parking lights on?
but mr. gilmore im your caddy!
Ere you installing a 3rd.gen.trd pro grill on a 2nd.gen. Tacoma? That’s what I searched I found you
I'd recommend not rubbing your oily finger over where you are getting ready to apply glue each time.
When you start figuring out how to get really really good adhesion with tabs like these - examples being warming them lightly with a torch first.. - you can start exerting pretty crazy pressures via them - pulls into the hundreds of kilos. However what will happen then is the steel shaft will tear out of the plastic tab as you get better at sorting adhesion issues.. That's using a pulling tower not the little jig the tabs come with. So with that being said, if you are not getting a pretty solid pull with these & the little jig, it's your adhesion technique that you need to sort, because the tabs will take some pretty hefty pulls waay beyond what the kit is designed for. TLDR - sort adhesion issues & these pull pretty well.
Use a heat gun first..won't hurt the paint
I plugged in my add-a-fuse in the correct spot but then one headlight turns off? I tried other 10 fuses and no luck. Any ideas?
Jason... what did you find out worked that fixed this problem?
For anyone else wondering, the add a fuse needs both the old 10a fuse and the new 15a fuse. This was the fix for me. Peace!
Can I wire it so it’s on with low beams and running lights?
Looks like you start with one dent and end up with three.
I have an odd shaped indentation left by a license plate screw on my plastic rear bumper after a slight rear end. Would it work?
Yes
Currently at the 40 second mark and I’m predicting that the framing bar breaks and/or the edge doesn’t move.
What size o ring did you use to ground it ?
Well done, dude. Looks great. Ordering mine this Friday and using this as the guide. 🤙
How was your experience with ur new grill?
That trim piece around it is originally chrome. Where did you get a black one.
I’d love to know myself!
I had a guy paint mine for me to match my truck just fyi it’s hard to find them a lot of people end up getting them painted else where
Not necessarily. It's originally chrome if your trim level included that. On my wife's 2012 TRD Sport, it is body colored. On the aftermarket grille I got her (the Impulse Grille from Extreme Terrain) it comes unpainted black plastic. We had her surround painted to match the truck, like the original grille.
Hey that turned out great! I love the rod holder idea. Great action shots at the end as well.
