The thing that makes Sora so special is that openess. The heart is canonically made of memories and those memories are what connect people. He's not the chosen one. Not in the sense of having a destiny anyway. He wasnt chosen by the Keyblade because of what he is but because of who he is. His greatest strength is how genuine he is. He is unabashedly himself with no irony. Kingdom Hearts is entirely sincere. There's not a spec of irony. Thats what I love about it. In a world where everyone and everything is irony poisoned Kingdom Hearts is sincere and unabashedly its self. There are little to no jabs about things being silly or "isn't it silly that his weapon is a big key?" I think that's what draws me to the series. Its emotionally honest. Things arent always logical but they feel right.

I agree with all of your points. Also, I find it hard to believe that there wasn't at least ONE person involved in the movie who didn't imagine Asha and Starboy as a couple. Heck, people who worked on Zootopia shipped Nick and Judy. There was that deleted scene of Judy's parents seeing them together and thinking they were "together".

Notice how the faults of the masters are also very adult flaws. MoM the ultimate jaded war vet a little TOO ready to make sacrifices combined with agendas within agendas. He’s the perfect example of what an overly serious life does to one’s personality and beliefs…and we still haven’t seen his character development yet. Aqua is me and many others after high school graduation. Not as ready for the real world as her status told her to believe. Eraqus is the embodiment of every failed altruist in his final moments. His intentions, though pure, were focused poorly. Xehanort is the man who feels himself in control of his darker half when it’s actually that he became one with it (and in the worst way).

Despite Yen Sid can't say his name backwards and him very cryptic about his training to Riku,Sora,and Mickey Yen Sid is the greatest Keyblade Master.

Didn't like Aqua's character that much in BBS since she was half of a hypocrite but i know she wanted things that are right but the fact she just condemned terra about him using darkness or what not She was basically Eraqus' lapdog BUT After watching Dark Road and Frahmentary Passage I just realized that the absolute dogmatic ideology of Scala ad Caelum about the Light pretty much engraved their minds and darkness should be condemned. Also the fact that Eraqus' trauma from Baldr killing his friends.

I think the whole title of keyblade master weird, because the current masters know only as much as the dandelions who were the only survivors of the keyblade war, who thenselves basicaly only knew how to gather lux for their unions, but great video really enjoyed watching

This is the kind of problem you also see with many people in the Star Wars fandom. They try to impose the story they themselves wanted to see instead of understanding the story on its own terms, the way the filmmakers intended them to see it.

Honestly I don’t agree on the whole “evil couple love each other selfishly” and “Amaya switching to the other side after she realizes her husband cares more about his looks” ideas. I guess the idea of a healthy villain couple just gets me all happy inside. Like seeing an evil couple who both love each other selflessly instead of selfishly is so rare in any sort of media. I guess I just want to see a villain power couple do evil stuff together. But overall that’s my personal take on Amaya and Magnifico. Oh yeah they were gonna have a cat so we missed out on them being cat parents to😢

I actually like the idea that Star takes on a younger form of Sabino because he admired him before slowly developing his own form the more time he spends on Earth.

Yeah all i want is the version where they did go thru with the evil power couple concept and even went as far tas having Asha be their daughter for that conflict.

I definitely agree kh is headed towards the concept of harmony between light and dark. Dark Road especially began laying the groundwork for this idea by having the dead upperclassmen go “hey uh maybe we should be trying to bring light and dark together instead of just fighting the dark” (only to have their words immediately fly right over Xehanort and Eraqus’ heads lol). I think a huge part of kh4 will be about exploring Sora’s own darkness which up until now has remained mostly unaddressed (I actually think the giant darkside in the trailer is born from Sora’s darkness). And wow look who is going to Quadratum alone to find Sora! Someone who just happens to be the only character to truly understand how to harmonize light and darkness! I’m sure that won’t be important 😉 In all seriousness, the combined keyblade is already an illustration of the idea of harmony between light and dark, as opposed to the x-blade which is created from the conflict of light and dark (and quite ugly and disharmonious as a result).

I think when Nomura says ordinary boy he means Sora ain't gonna be someone like the master of masters or the child of prophecy type of scenario which many KH theorista proclaim him to be. We also overlook the fact that while Xehanort was young he had connections but at old age he abandons them and creates artificial ones by only having versions of himself in the organization taking the " I only trust myself" type of thing EXTREME so he doesn't have any real connections at that point in his life anymore. Sora did that is why he prevails

That first one is actually pretty likely. Zack was added to BBS to promote crisis core so with the FF7R series still ongoing it'd be good promotion here too. Not to mention as you pointed out the theming of this next saga being heavily tied with death is kinda perfect for bringing back Zack.

honestly I'm a simple person, i just want to see more simple personal/casual interactions between the cast, like give me; Riku, Terra, and Aqua sharing the trauma of being trapped in the dark Xion, Namine, and Kairi just chilling together Ven and Roxas switching outfits and seeing if anyone notices.

i think its important to note that red eyes are the specific characteristic of nightmares, the heartless and rage form sora you mentioned have yellow eyes with a red glow (even the dark hide from fregmentary passage)

hmm... this is a rather interesting case you have here. Darkness is rather a mysterious subject in KH's history despite seeing it everywhere in the dark seeker saga. we understand that darkness and light are parts of the natural state of everything, but there are qualities that are unanswered. given how that UX puts darkness as not only a force of nature and negativity, but it is also a entity that the master of masters has interacted with. secondly, we have BARELY and sense of understanding in what light is truly capable of given that it is always at darkness's chokehold since the keyblade war and the forming of worlds. I do think Harmony as a theme that is hinted at in KH's history has a heavy spot in the lost master arc... but to what end? We have no clue what the foreteller's intentions are still and we have barely a lick of info on what MoM has in store for us in quadratum.

Honestly I think in KH4 I'm expecting the Foretellers to be hunting Ven or trying to capture him (because oh no darkness) and at least sometime in the next arc we get to see what happens when Ira loses his mcfucking marbles. Also to note that in the Keyblade Graveyard during the war, when Aced stops Ira from making us into a shish kebab he looked slightly angeryer then usual, so I highly highly doubt that Aced had a fun time after they went off screen
