Awesome - I live in Wanaka and was thinking about a mish through to the Ahuriri this weekend. Is it better to go below the highway closer to Lake Benmore or head up into the Ben Avon area?
I've only fished the upper but the whole river system has fish, so would be worth a shot anywhere I reckon
