Inland Empire 66ers Star Wars Night Trailer
Here's fun edit I made to promote our upcoming Star Wars Night. This was one of my biggest projects so far. I used everything I have learned along the way to put this together. This was done using After Effects with Video Copilot's Element 3D and Davinci Resolve Studio. All shot on the Sony FX3 and DJI Mini 2. I feel like I really nailed the shadows and reflections to make this look as real as I could. Let me know what you think! I can make a tutorial if anyone is interested in a certain section.

I was lucky enough to be able to capture this amazing footage of the show from 11/12/2021. Here are some of my favorite moments from the North American Tour in San Bernardino, California. This was shot on the Sony FX3 with the Sigma 24-70 ART and Sigma 100-400mm lenses. Aerial shots were taken by the DJI Mini2.

What projector did you use

Hi, I'm planning on doing a one day event and setting up a drive in theatre. I was wondering, whether you'd have flies or other insects obstructing the projector and how do you deal with that?
I didn’t really have that problem. The projector bulb got so hot that its temperature did a good job keeping bugs away.

I got busy with my day jobs, so I haven’t made a video in about a year. But don’t worry, I have a lot of much better gear, so my videos will be much higher quality, production value, and more frequent. So I might get more subs come soon.

Yes, because it's a public showing. Example, as of 2021, in Canada the fee ranges from $150-$650 depending on the title and how new it is. If the movie has already been released to DVD/Bluray, it's usually between $200-$300. If it's a private showing, you don't need a permit. For the USA, it looks like movie licensing pricing can range from $300 to $2,000+ depending on a number of things. Some factors affecting the licensing price can include, the number of people in attendance, location, application, whether or not you charge admission (sell tickets), and the film title being displayed. Crowds of less than 200 people will be in the lower end of the price range, whereas crowds of 1,000+ people will be in the higher end. Either way a person would have to contact Criterion Pictures or Motion Picture Licensing Corporation, and they can help you obtain a public showing license for the movie/day you want.
