open tunings and a capo are your friend! and try working in a key that lets you pull off every string to open. Makes it a lot easier to transition between notes, when in doubt just play an open string

this entire album but especially this song have been a huge source of comfort for me lately, and i was feeling kinda dissatisfied with writing today so i decided to just cover this instead. also showing off some new gear :) the amp n guitar are new, you probably won't hear them again until after the ep, cuz i recorded all of that on old gear

shoutout to ur bassist, can you ask them if its normal that bass makes me wanna kill myse jokes aside, this riff is super easy once you get the time signatures, and the rest of the song more or less follows suit, i dunno if i wanna tab that out cuz tabbing signature changes is kinda ass and i dont have a patreon to shill. I might make a tutorial though
@thank you in advance if you do that! I already tried learning the riff by ear, but I think I did it wrong, so it would come out amazing if you do so. I’ll also ask the bassist. Though I must say that I do have the same feelings when I’m shredding guitar, it feels amazing when I play it, but I also get those intrusive thoughts on a regular basis, even when I’m not playing guitar :(
