Looking at updating the videos sense so many new cars have been added, and now I understand how to tune in this game a lot better. Horizon 4 to Horizon 5 it’s totally different. I have a full time job so if I see you online I’ll message you.

PS: I have a lot of rivals times outside of those two races that are top 50-100 in S1 rally. I use all my own tunes. And I should also let you know that this video was really helpful because I can build any random car to do what I need it to pretty well, but I’m not usually aware of what the fastest cars are for the job and how they were built. Like the Holden in B class could be built for handling but it’s best as a power tune. So thank you! Friend my Xbox profile and hopefully I’ll see you around!

@@governedmoist1755 sweet! And I totally understand you there, FH5 let’s you get away with better handling among other things in comparison to FH4, and the suspension for off-road types are waaayyy different. I’m looking forward to meeting you online! And Happy Easter!

I just made a GT 40 MK l for s1 CC.. I'm going to test it out for mixed surface because its insanely fast.

Do you think they will open up horizon open for c class cars? I can’t remember if they did in previous Forza Horizon games. I wish they would. In my opinion the most fun and challenging open events are B class. A is ruined by the bone shaker and S2 is ruined by the broken collision mechanics. It’s sad how this game has seemed to regress over the years.

@@Action3x I don’t think they will. They have C class in the tour. I wish they would penalize rammers, like if you purposely ram someone off the road you get something similar to a wall collision.

@@governedmoist1755 glad you like it. AR12 is a little frustrating when he sets up a new car and just races it against AI. There's too many variables for that to be useable information. The track you've used is a good benchmark. It would be good to know how the recently available Lamborghini Gallardo spider does against the 360cs, or if it's better as a S1, if it's laptimes are comparable to the TVR you mentioned. If you were looking for more ideas, perhaps specialised videos for street race cars by class. I appreciate a car can do both but when I see an open tracklist with something like jungle decent on it, I have a special car for it that I wouldn't use around a track for example.

@@bogstandardash3751 to do specialized cars per track would be quite a task. I do a lot of rival events however. I could do something like that. It would probably have to be something like 4 events per video with just lap times and tune info. What do you think; 1 road, 1 dirt, 1 CC, and 1 street per video just going down the list of rivals? This next series I'll start doing the new cars released and testing to see if they are good for anything.

@@governedmoist1755 I do loads of rivals testing too. I didn't want to demand you be too specific as to do it on an individual track basis. I meant more that it might be useful to draw a distinction between cars best used for street racing where straight line speed Is more useful, in comparison to track based options where turn in and precision is more required.

@@bogstandardash3751 ahh. I see what you’re saying. There is a car I’m testing for that as we speak. It’s the 2005 Ferrari FXX. You have to throw snow tires on it to get in S1 900, but it seems to have potential for road racing. But I’m also trying it for mixed surface here shortly.

From my testing it’s substantially worse.

I have the videos all recorded but have had a hard time editing due to being super sick and then Christmas. Dirt will be b-s1 because I forgot there was an s2 and that will be a separate video, I was already losing my mind in s1. Shouldn’t be too much longer for the dirt b-s1.

without looking at the fine tuning all I can really say is that is handles very nice, the only thing I would change is the gearing. with an 8-10 speed gearbox I usually bring the final drive toward "speed" until the 7th gear is at the very corner of the graph. this usually brings the acceleration down a few tenths. overall good tune. the dirty air I feel isn't as big of an issue in this game as it is in others, but I'd suggest to always be careful when racing behind someone. Can't tell you how many times I've gotten messaged for bumping someone saying I'm a rammer...

at the time of recording the Honda NSX-R GT was in the action house on a regular basis, it seems to have died out sadly. I can do something on X class, I tent to keep things S2 max because there usually isn't much use for X class. And I have been working on the '05 GT and Lotus Gt1 trying to get the best of handling and power on them.
