New Haven Ledges - How to land Toaster softly every time
TLDR - Line up just left of the buldge, lean forward, tiny left boof stroke, stomp, celebrate. Being in the right spot is the most important part. If you like to nerd out about lines and technique, then keep reading.

Background
In 2021 I fractured a vertebra on this drop. The level was very low (around 7" on the painted gauge) I was in a short and flat-bottomed Antix 1, I had been running it a bit far left, and I had been boofing too hard and just tucking forward, hoping for the best. Fortunately it was a minor fracture and it didn't take long to get back on the water. Back to back Water Gap paddling days where I had my best day so far on Raymondskill Creek with my first descents of Flirting with Disaster and the middle tier of Raymondskill Falls. The next day I ran Hood Run where I had my first attempt at corner pocket and had a pretty messy run, but learned a good lesson about staying on my toes.
