Love your video. I purchased this same Trek 22 days ago, had the bike shop change the seat and I put 195 miles on it since. I absolutely love the bike. I am a heavy rider and I kept breaking spokes on my other bike, but I haven't had any problems with that issue on this bike.
This bike is great but I wish they would have went with the 300 series aluminium, this bike is heavier than the new checkpoints. 300 series has prettier welds as well.
I wish the same, i think the 100 aluminium series it's ok for DOMANE AL2 or AL3, but maybe AL4 and for shure AL5 deserve the 300 series. Trek doesn't comunicate the weight of this frame, but I think is 400-500 grams more than the Emonda ALR one, which is a lot for a bike that costs more than 2.000 €
Just received this bike a week ago after waiting more than a year and a half. Very pleased with it. In the future I’m planning to get some hookless, tubeless wheels and tires. I’m pleased with the wider tires. Very comfortable!

How tall are you for the size 54? I am about 5'9 but I think I have a longer torso so I think a 54 is right for me?
I am 5'10 178cm . I was trying initially 56 but reach was just too far, felt too big generally. Tried out 54, fit me nicely, very comfortable but might need bit of professional bike fitting to fix some quirks for super long rides. Best way is to find some store nearby and just go there and try similar bike from range.
Do you think that 52 is the right choice for me that I am 173?
So weird I’m 5’10” and got longer legs got recommended the 58 and it felt very comfortable to me

What size tyres do you have on. 32s or 35s?
I am on standard 32s for now, Bontrager R1. Did 1500km without puncture or any serious problem. They are ok can handle very light off-road terrain as well. But might swap them for bit lighter and faster tires, as mainly riding road. Might go down to 30s or 28s.

I don't really think prices will drop as there is shortages and thanks to post pandemic quite a bit demand. Though there might be plenty of very nice second hand bikes in good prices. Hit already more than 1000km and still looks and ride like new.

Yo its a hot bike, its very capable and it looks great. I have the same one. I was cycling uphill in a park and asked pedestrians to kindly make way for me. A lady in the group said, ENJOY! Which was for me enjoying the ride and my new bike! That's how good the bike looks in person, plus I got the right gear right so I had the right momentum going up LMAO

It costed £1900 in UK, London. Yes they are pretty hard to get. Found one in official TREK store nearby in my sizing, that was lucky.
