Leung Ting's books on the bare-handed and Wooden dummy forms are very useful as well. Aside from teaching the form, he also demonstrates the applications and points out common mistakes and corrections on body postures and applications.
Leung Ting is another Level ...when He would be Real Athletic Trained with No Bodyfat and Real Hard Muscles like Bruce Lee .. Leung Ting would be easily a Chinese Hero!!! The most Deadly Hands on Earth Sharp like Sword's Extreme in Manny ways a Concentrated Flexible Power if Executining Form Total Abnormal BUT Weak Body and Stamina No Endurance!!!
This Non-Sense is still being taught by that so-called and self-appointed 'closed-door-student" since 50 years, . And there are still Mandy people out there, who believe, that this way of performing Wing Tsun is the proper way, because the "closed-door-student" told so. So hopefully people wake up sometime...

Don't these forms make more sense if you assume there are butterfly knives in their hands? The mechanics of Wing Chung forms make alot more sense with weapons in them than empty hands.
I think you are thinking more to the lines of Kali , Escrima, Filipino martial arts. There movements are exactly the same for all weapons; escrima sticks, knives, machete etc, even there empty hand movements are similar/ and that's a good thing; easy to pick up any weapon thats handy (a piece of wood etc..) and use it. They also start training weapons FIRST then when more advanced move on to empty hand, check it out/good stuff. -Cheers

Cheung made his system up and lied about being a closed door student, , etc, etc. As Wong Sheung Leung told me; "Ip Man wasn't into teenage boys"! lol William Cheung also told lies about being stabbed multiple times in a fight yet, has no scars to prove it and he was exposed by Emin Boztepe, when Boztepe bashed him at a seminar for shooting off his big mouth and for his lies! lol

You should Notice that when he is Performing the Second form . He is Moving on his heel that Wrong because it take away one Movement . This is Modified Wing Chun ( Correct Spelling) and they don't teach Application of the form . I started my Training in Modified Version and now I train in Real Wing Chun Forms and I Guarantee there is Application for every Movement . I won't Waste my time Practicing Modified because they do it Wrong . Plus Wing Chun don't take 15 to 20 years to Master . Peace ! Keep an Open Mind and you Will Learn ! 😁😁❤❤❤

I started my training in Modified version then I learned the correct way to perform the form and applications . If you only practice Modified i can assure you , you won't beat me . Seek and learn ! I'm very confused with this system.. some say this is the real forms and others that it isn't... can you tell me who teaches the Original forms?
So...Sifu Benny Meng says in one of his videos that Chi Sao is only one of 7 or 8 exercises teaching sensitivity. Anyone know anything about that?
T’ai Chi has a sensitivity drill called t’ui shou (push hands), and the system I practice (5 Animals) has some other sensitivity exercises.
Try to get a book from traditional chinese medicine, there you will find the definition from foundation ( or basic ) force. like 1:Cheng 2:Bao 3:Ding 4:Ning 5:Xuan 6:Zhen 7:Chan 8:Ti 9:Dun 10:Tun 11:Tu 12:Gun 13:Bo 14:Tan To introduce the different "working of forces" is the mastery, after you have learned the "techniks". The sensitivity teaching methods leads you straight to this. Btw only 8 from these forces are common to use in martial arts. It all start's with a proper stand and breathing exercise to focus on your own body.
Little idea in little idea form talks about the importance of EVERY SINGLE MOVEMENT MADE.

Why do people keep insisting those are added sound fx? I don't see anything wrong or "gay" about Leung Ting's demo here or ving stun in general. There are always slight differences between lineages and families.
The man demonstrating Si Lum Tao looked like Sifu Jim Fung. Can anyone confirm that?

It's definitely not Leung Ting in the first form. Leung Ting performs the second and third.
wc changes all the time i teach all the versions of the forms i was taught plus some i see on youtube so my forms are long
Why does different teachers of IP Man lineage teach different versions of the forms? Different to what he did. Why not teach the forms like Ip Man did it. There's video footage available online.
@@francoisnel5253 Because they want the forms to suit them, and not the reverse. This exists in all styles. A master changes his style later in life.
