Cyril LOUICHE combined chow with a good provoker, such as WKN, Wilhelm, Barusa, or that good looking turtle and you're good to go

I prefer basch, he can be your magic/physical tank. But if you're using mystea... wol/voe will do for physical tank. I don't have gladio, so I don't know about him.

Schean X just wondering who to use to replace cagnazzo since he used 2 tanks. I thought about using basch by himself but mystea has status protection and that will help me alot.

Snow or Wilheim, you need a provoker tank in case you cant kill the little ones one turn before bad breath and devour take 1 of your units, you can use basch too with moogle plushie and his exclusive accesory to use him as provoke tank with golem

Byrón Marsall i have snow but no Wilhelm. I do have moogle plushie and ff12 exclusive cape. Now i need to try get my barb's mag up. I'm just under 900 with a friend around 950. Would that still be ok?

Anthony Terry snow is OK just give him your high def with moogle plooshie he is OK as provoker tank (80% chance of being attacked). Barb need the Malboro Tentacle in order to deal dmg

cuanh11 devour is not used if you kill the little ones on the turn before

make sure soleil is doing the defense/spirit breaks, you should be able to do around 60-70% if the mini malboros are broken

FFBE US yep I do the spirit breaks when I buff mag/atk, still not doing enough damage. I feel like aeroja isn't chain capping properly and I'm not sure why. When I tried again this time casting aeroja with shantotto too they did about 60-70% damage (although I failed that time because the first time didn't chain at all, may have forgotten to cast tornado with shantotto or barb :/), so I definitely think somehow I'm not chain capping properly when barb casts aeroja alone ><

PandaRandaGyabo you have to use barb first if shant. Isnt DC'ing

Unfortunately, the only units that could replace Mystea right now are Chow and Basch

you need to do that if you are not DC-ing shantotto with aeroja, otherwise the chain will break and barbie's aeroja won't be chain-capped

Correct. You need to find a Barb with pretty much perfect gear + Malboro tentacle. Part of the homework that needs to be done in order to clear this way

FFBE US I ended up killing Great Malboro on turn 100+, but the small ones were still alive. He respawned and I just gave up. Need to find a perfect Barb or pull one myself to double chain / finish.

dark resist buffer instead of mystea (minfilia works too, she was my buffer when I ran this some months ago)

I feel bad for anyone who didnt get her. Drace buffs dark resist and has some useful tools. Obviously cg sage sakura was born for this kinda trial if you drew for her like i did.

just 100% dark resist on Mystea, the rest doesn't matter

FFBE US: How did you get Mystea to 100% dark resist? i was looking at your equip and only 1 offers dark resist(accesorry) and the 50% from diabolos. That's only 80%. Your dark resist stat in the video shows 100%. Can you tell me what I'm missing?

Although it is not visible without checking your actual stats after equipping it, the Lovely Rod gives 20% Dark Resist

lol c'mon .. his gear is pretty normal, bar some *free* trial gear. and his tm is pretty normal if you played long enough.

greaterfiend i think EV might be able to hold at that DEF. not sure about Zyrus. Probably going to take you 4-5 shots to kill below 60%
