Many years ago, my husband and I were staying in Mundesley and decided to watch the arrival of the new lifeboat. Everyone was watching as the beautiful shiny new boat arrived. Unfortunately as she was almost there , the sound of grinding was heard! The boat had struck either a rock or part of the slipway! There was a lot of running around, and the boat turned around and departed back the way it had come for repair! I don’t know if anyone remembers that, it could have been over 50ys ago now, but it was a very sorry sight. I don’t know if it was called Henry Blogg, or if it was to replace the Henry Blogg.
Henry Blogg would certainly approve!! 👏👏

As soon as he started to slow it was game over only chance he had was to try keep the speed on and steer it out if a trailer lifts and you stop the momentum will deffo carry it on over , Should have been more careful to start with

@@yant8777 It wasnt that tight he panicked and braked i still think he could have steered it out of it as he had piles of room when the camera car stopped dead, You never break when it does that or its deffo going over

Wow! Digital tractors. How things have moved on, my Grand-papa used to do this sort of thing by hand or cattle. Thanks for sharing the video.
my grandfather too but at that time it was more grassland than fields (and that much more manure forage, beet,hay and straw to be harvested loaded on cards and spread by hand) with 3 times more workers reasonably paid but a 70 years lifespan and hardly any free time. i still have my grandmother to tell the tales of how hard work was by hand and with horses, and how much she don't wan't us to have to work like back in the day (unlike city people), because we may have it easy when we are in a tractor in the field but once you have to do what is done by hand you have to tackle it alone. when you ask her about those people who want work to be done with animal traction "like in good old times", the caring granny she is call them people who don't know what physical work is...
