Nicely done. Great video that has me leaning towards the Angus kit over the CLC Annapolis Wherry. Thanks for posting.
Congratulations on the project. I live in another country, do you know if this project exists for sale? I would buy the wood here and have it cut according to the project.
Beautiful! I ran the Phoenix lake/Bon Tempe Lake many times 1972-1990. My favorite place to run!
wondering how this is for initial stability? Choosing a design to build either this winter or early spring and need lightweight, good in light chop on big lakes, and able to handle my 90 pound young hound! Love this design but also Flo-mo's 'Anders version' of his Romax, (12 ' instead of the 16' full size Romax), which is double ended.
I used CNC DXF files. Mine came out 15’ 3” not 15’ 10”. Did you get the full 15’10”? Great work!
Thank you for this excellent video. The building instructions from Angus are great but seeing you building the wherry with small glitches similar to the ones I'm encountering helps a lot. Pausing and zooming to see the details. seine-wherry.blogspot.com/
I highly suggest 1/2 speed... Excellent video... Thank you!!!
I'm stuck indoors at home in London, UK for 3 months because of the Corona virus. I've set up my laptop in front of my rowing machine and I'm rowing while watching youtube videos. It helps to picture me rowing with you on that lake. It looks beautiful. Thanks for posting.
Thank you aziv00.That is the most touching comment I've received on RUclips. We are all in this together. 🚣♂️🌎🌏🌍
4:30-4:45 thanks for an interesting moment!
I could sit here and watch this all day! Good camera work to, well done
It's empowering to see it all in time lapse. & feel less intimidated about my project now. Interesting cinematography also. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing! Loved the time lapse. Who ever made the comment that they didn’t learn anything from this is a blind fool! Great job!
Thank you for making this lovely video. I'm almost done building my oxford wherry kit and your video gave me a lot of confidence every step of the way.
Beautiful job, beautiful boat. Thanks for making and posting this video, it's very inspirational.
Was this from built from the kit or scratch built from plans?
It was built from a kit. Here is the link to the folks who produce the it: angusrowboats.com/products/oxford-wherry-kit
Thanks for making the video, Tom. I've been using it for reference as I build. Tomorrow is truing the hull and I'm not looking forward to it.
Great job! How many hours did you have into it over how many days?
The slow pans are really great shots, capturing the variations of plant life. The underwater shots are fantastic. Purisima Creek Redwoods is my favorite hiking south of San Francisco.
You could have moved a little faster,I guess it was done for your self gratification.
What was your reason to make this video? Your audience did not learn a single thing about building this boat.
+boat buddy 😂LOL, this video was never intended for that. If you want instructions I suggest reading them from the manufacturer.
@boat buddy - What a stupid comment. I learned the process of building this boat by watching the video. Don't be so dim.
Don't feed the trolls!
You have redefined the word "stupid"... WOW...
I've been looking at the Annapolis Wherry, now I'll have to check out this one.
Those tomatoes are amazing (so is the boat)
Great job on the boat AND the video, fun to watch you move so fast
Unbelievable patience and tenacity. Congrats Thomas. Oh, and the video is equally impressive. Looks like you can build both a boat and a story.
I love your sailors hat!
Very nice video, especially the creek shots. My wife and I have been running there many times. Love all our open space and amazing parks here in the Bay Area. Thanks!
Beautiful redwoods. I love Purisima.
