I remember watching this as a young teenager. My mom had mixed feelings about us girls watching it (there were six of us girls, all two years apart) because they spoke of birth control, abortion (which was illegal at the time) and Sanger was so controversial verging on evil and sacrilegious. Believe it or not, mothers were actually putting birth control in their teenage daughters juice, especially if they were incorrigible and/or oversexed in trouble all the time. There weren’t many of those girls though. If a girl got pregnant, we had homes that the girls were sent to, to gave birth. Many families kept the children, some put them up for adoption. Sometimes family members in another town or state were given custody of the children to raise, because that’s what families did…they were family. Sometimes we had a shotgun wedding, because men were real men back then, they also accepted responsibility for their actions…after all, the children were theirs also. Most of the time, those marriages worked and were happy homes. The fall of society happened when abortion began being just another form of birth control. That was back then, now a woman with six children, with four different men, calls for an ambulance because she’s in horrible pain and bleeding heavily because the ninth abortion she had in four years caused infection that turned to sepsis. The doctors had to perform a radical hysterectomy to save her life. She, in turn, tried sue the hospital because she would never be able to have another child. Of course she lost. Appeal didn’t work either. That’s a true story. But it’s emblematic and symbolic of today’s mindset and entitlement. It’s disgusting and is a filthy stain on humanity.

I don't like how she denied so many of her quotes -- its betrays a disingenuous disposition. Its interesting to learn that she was religious, in a sense. What’s wrong with birth control? Birth control…NOT abortion. Promiscuity is obviously there. If you know you have no self control…yet you can control an unexpected pregnancy…by all means do so with birth control. Why bring a child into a world of your selfish doings? Why bring this child into the womb only to murder it because of selfish doings? Why bring this child into the world to use it as a pawn for your own selfish doings? Life is too hard to make a child suffer for your selfish doings? Bring a child into a chaotic world…lack of resources at all levels…food, shelter, medical, mental and wellbeing. But what Mike Wallace says at 27:27 is, I think, one of the most important statements. He says the purpose of the interview is to show a side for people to discuss.
