I agree with this, especially if you are involved in a narcissistic relationship or narcissistic family unit. Reason, they don’t listen to what you are saying because they don’t care. And, no matter if you do attempt to rationalize what just happened or defend yourself, it will go “circular,” or they will deflect whatever you say back to you. I do wish people would stop making assumptions based on body language. The common perceptions of what posture etc means is rarely accurate and forcing people to be hyper aware of what their body is doing out of fear of being misunderstood is not fair.

I’ve been a victim of Kaiser Permanente Redwood City for 10 years - medical neglect and malpractice and by being denied mental health support they mentally disabled me from figuring out the injustices and injuries happening to me. They bullied me into complying to their deranged and unethical behavior until I lost all sense of self-determination and convinced myself I was insane and a problem. Two years into therapy (out of network) is how long it took for me to see the light and see what they did to me. I’m not crazy. They are evil and pulling it off because evil is what designed the system and the policies protect them further from ever taking accountability. They are now blatantly retaliating against me for finally self advocating. I now see I’m not crazy but I am responding to crazy with crazy because that’s what they want from me. The NPD people who built these corporations and systems of malice and oppression are crazy AF. Their culture is crazy, my culture is loving and reacting to unresolved torment and years of retraumatization. Now I’m loving myself enough to react more effectively.

I agree, can’t believe how many people share on social media to complete strangers. These strangers criticize and predators are looking for lonely women to get their money then disappear. So I don’t think it’s a good idea either.
