Hey, good to see someone with honest reviews, subbing. Not sure in which video to ask, so this place seemed appropriate. What are the best medium-sized (uBoom L size or smaller) bluetooth speakers for sound quality if you are good and making custom EQs? Like the secret speaker that a EQ pro can make into a godly unicorn. Looking for a TWS setup with clear highs and an immersive soundstage. Bass and mids are important to, but I can make sacrifices there if needed. Price isn’t an issue-just seeking the best audio experience.

Sonos is the best for affordable audio for a TV in my opinion. Sonos makes great soundbars and subwoofers. Not everyone wants to spend thousands on a system just to upgrade their bad TV speakers. However, I get Sonos is not audiophile grade, though. For the price, they use great drivers and sound decent. They could have more treble, though.

Where can I find these? I really want some so bad if I can find them under $50.

Vizio isn’t bad at all. However, their internal TV speakers are pretty mediocre at best. Their external speakers including soundbars are quite good and sound better than many other soundbars on the market. This driver seems decent.

might you know where we could get these? i’ve been looking to replace my onn gen 2 large party speaker woofers cause with bass heavy songs they don’t seem to like the excursions at 75% volume. or would you have any good suggestions for 5.25 woofers?

You mentioned Earfun so I'm guessing you've heard the Uboom L. How would you say it compares? About 2.5 X the price but this one certainly looks much more capable. I liked what I heard in the test. Aux in is a huge plus for me too

How much rms is your Onkyo amp plate?

I love mine I've had it for about 3 months now and for 80 bucks I dare you to find a Bluetooth speaker of that size of that quality of construction and the sound is absolutely fantastic it Rivals almost anything on the market as far as a portable Bluetooth expandable speaker that has all the features that it does is absolutely amazing little speaker when you put it somewhere if you put it in front of a flat surface you really hear that 2.1 surround and if you go to the App Store or the Play Store and download the app wavelet it gives you more ways to really fine-tune the speaker it's called wavelet and you will not be disappointed

I know there are some subreddits meant just for this stuff. it's been a long time since I last looked up anything about old boomboxes. Try there as well, if nothing, you could ask for the subs themselves.

Honestly, no bi amp / active crossover in 2024?! I understand they tried to keep the cost as low as possible but who knows how much better it would have sounded.. Also I appreciate all the work you put into doing the teardowns!
