I take it you’re jumpin in on the marvel/dc analog horror train after siltrics huh?
Interesting idea. If I can provide one critique, I think the pacing of this was a bit quick. The Hulk has much potential for horror and that's been demonstrated in some comics. Body horror especially seems to be one of his strong suits, so I'm interested to see if you'll tackle that if you decide to continue this.
Vesta verde the birth place of the hulk
Wolverine: ah sh*t, here were go again
hulk look like a kamikaze from COD black ops
Wait... a man in 1962, a project leader even... talked about his emotional trauma to some guy at work? That's less believable than the whole "gamma mutation" thing.
Good job on creating something which looks like old videotape - complete with scanning lines! And a great photo of a young Bill Bixby.
If hulk was real he'd be everyones worst fuckin' nitemare times 100.
Super cool idea! The visuals are great, and I love the music. Keep working on your writing. It's tough to lock down, depending on your circumstances. It goes a long way in keeping the reader immersed. There's some fluff that could be re-worded (maybe some spicier vocab too) and some scenes that feel slightly irrelevant to the analog horror setting. In my unprofessional opinion. (PS: Don't send The Hulk to smash me!) Cheers from here!
Toooooooooooooo much reading. I honestly was hoping for more subtlety. The concept is very creative though. Keep at it.
You know, the reason he was a superhero is tied to how he got into the accident. He was saving Rick Jones. Take away Rick, and make it implied suicide and now its different.
would be cool if they did a whole show like this
Nothing really changed. Unless there will be more to this story this is a bit underwhelmed not gonna lie. Neat video though.
I'm sorry if you found this disappointing, but don't worry, this series will have its twists and turns that will make it different from main comics of Hulk
Did Bruce go out on accident, on purpose, or to save Rick?
A marvel analog horror about the hulk, interesting, i wonder what else can people make analog horror with the marvel characters
"Eyewitnesses described it as an immortal monster." Terrible writing choice.
Search the movie 'The Beast of Yucca Flats'. Hulk's true inspiration.
Who In god's name fought that this is scary?
Looks like analog horror has reached a new low.
Cool, do another one!
Hulk is just Dr. Jackyl and Mr. Hyde in the Atomic Age. The dread comes from his inner turmoil, realizing that seperating Good from Evil is not the smartest idea. Body Horror is just the cherry on top.
Body horror will be a recurring theme in this series.
Remember that part in The Incredible Hulk movie (the one that the MCU keep forgetting about) where those soldiers were hunting the Hulk inside a factory at night? The Hulk was VERY scary in near pitch black darkness, where just his green eyes could be seen.
Didn’t know I needed an Incredible Hulk analog horror but thanks!
This would be a great "What if...".
If Hulk wasn't a Marvel superhero, he'd 100% be an SCP.
Now do Weapon X
It’s kind of terrifying how non-scary this is.
Doc Bruce Banner Melted by gamma rays Turned into the Hulk Aint he unglamorous Wrecking the town with the power of a bull Ain't no monster now who is as lovable The ever-loving hulk, hulk.
I take it this video is from the perspective of Rick Jones? This is a pretty cool idea. I'm curious if there will be other Marvel characters around or this will just be pure Hulk mythos.
If I had to guess, no. Probably the Russian saboteur who triggered the bomb early. In this particular story, we still don't know WHY Banner went out on to the proving grounds. Not mentioning Rick Jones now sets up an Act II reveal of a second monster.
Imagine the toilet paper Hulk must run through. Or the grocery bill he ain't coming over to my house nuh uhhh!
The fact that Bruce Banner already had D.I.D before this incident makes it even more disturbing. Imagine having an aggressive alternate personality that was bred out of so much trauma, and you try your whole life pretending it doesn't exist. Then that gamma explosion manifested the 'hulk' alter as a violent monster that has your face
Needs a voice actor to read a script.
Are you planning on making part 2? This was quite awesome. I like it's a bit scary but it keeps the essence of the original Hulk, which is cool.
Eventually
Id love a more dark take on the incredible hulk, like a government conspiracy type film sort of like the film the guest
Where's the kid Hulk Saved?
Marvel Ruins did it first
Hulk literally sees ghosts and is the avatar of God's wrath and judgment. Definitely analog horror material.
Hulk is the Godzilla of the marvel comics
Unless you count the creature in Marvel that's highly based off of Godzilla
The music is incredible.
I read “Grandma Bomb Incident 1962”
To be honest, and as a DC Comics fan, the idea of creating Marvel Analog Horror videos is better and makes more sense, I say this because there was always that possibility that things could get worse (although not as edgy as the "Ruins" comic). While making a DC one is nonsensical, committing the same lack of respect to the characters and their morals (in a VERY incoherent way) as Rocksteady did with the Suicide Squad game. Seriously, the fact that the analog horror of "Batman 666" (where Damian Wayne becames Batman) respects and pays homage to the fact that Batman ACTUALLY IS a hero and protector for Gotham instead of the... abomination of nature (a.k.a. "Schumacher's Batman & Robin" but worse) of "The Bat" created by SILTRICS
The reason why the hulk and the thing were monsters is because in the 50s, superheroes were demonized and essentially cancelled by fear of it tainting the youth. Stan and Jack put monsters in their books so if the books did poorly, they could quickly pivot the books into the monster/horror genre, leaving the superhero genre behind.
That's actually very interesting trivia! A recent Hulk run I am currently reading called The Immortal Hulk went back to the old horror roots, and supposedly, the current Hulk run at the time of this post is a horror oriented series too!
@@Immortal9-m9x that’s a fantastic book!
"Hey, Patrick, guess who I am!" "Uhhh... An Analog Horror Hulk Story?" "No, I'm his entire main comics history!" "WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?" XDDDDD
Pretty fun but I would have liked it to be a little bit longer. Still it's really good for a first video.
This is the hulk I love a horror show not the mcu version
Post-Ragnorak MCU Hulk is a horror of its own. 😬
I literally just watched both the 2003 and 2008 hulk movies today and this is my recommended 😭 (W tho)
Why literally?
@@Micke12312 I was sick and had to stay on the couch for the day, so I decided to watch some movies to feel nostalgic.
HULK SMASH! im making a mod for the Hulk already for CDDA.. right now is on checking and testing phase..
This has potential great execution in the beginning, did banner manage to save the teenager like he did in the original comic? The fact that only one body was found tells me he did so we have that going for this timelines Bruce banner. I’m also looking forward to future hulk/ gamma radioactive body horror seeing as to how your profile picture is sourced straight from the immortal hulk comic line. 💥☢️💥
This adaptation is going to be a little bit different from the original comics, most notably with Bruce Banner. Upcoming installments will adapt elements from The Immortal Hulk. 😈
I'm also wondering if other heroes like the Avengers are also a part of this. If so then doing Analog Horror on other characters like Man-Thing and Werewolf By Night would be pretty interesting
Why isn't there a hulk horror movie
I don't know? What don't you make one?
@@Immortal9-m9x I'm no John Carpenter myself 😀
