The guy who made this animation loves Tokyo Ghoul and read the manga. It shows. It shocks me how well it conveys the struggle kaneki goes through and how he learns to love himself through interacting with others. Almost makes me tear up.

When I discovered Tokyo ghoul I was in a really bad place, so I developed a sort of emotional attachment to it. I cry in almost every scene Hide is in, and recently rewatching season 1 and 2, the last episode I cried even harder then I did when I first saw it.
