I used to work here. Amazing views going all the way out to the Poconos and rural New Jersey. General Motors' NYC headquarters was here and they had a car showroom on the ground floor, but they left long ago, so I'm not sure why the building is still referred to as the "GM Building" by everyone to this day. After GM left, part of the ground floor was home to F.A.O Schwartz, but they closed shop too. Now it's most famous retail space is the NYC flagship, "glass cube" Apple Store. The whole building is now owned by Boston Properties. I miss the old place. It felt like a privilege to work there.

Some guy this week tried to tell me Trump is only being investigated and sued now because he was president. As if this has happened to every other president we’ve had? Like it’s just a normal thing for presidents or something. If the people who voted for him knew anything about him at all they would know he’s been getting investigated and sued pretty much non stop since the 80s for unethical business practices, tax evasion, sexual assault and racial discrimination and other reasons like refusing to pay his contractors. The man is a total sleaze ball.
