The run home begins in Jindabyne NSW and follows Doug and Joseph on there journey home that concludes in Gympie, Queensland. It was HARLEY-DAVIDSON Softail against HARLEY-DAVIDSON CVO ROADGLIDE ULTRA with a Mexican also in the mix.

Cops crept up to us from Goulburn to Sydney then sat in front of us at 120 for 30 mins or so
Yeah, I’ve seen that done a few times. Only once I saw a guy pass the cops……..he got pulled over immediately. 😂

Yeah he shoulda let you off. The smile when he said he got you at 119 means he knew you were going faster. I got lit up at about 240 once and the cop smiled and said he got me at 124 which is one K below losing your licence. But that was back when cops used discretion and those days are long gone. Great video and very funny!
Yeah, discretion is a thing of the past. It’s all about quotas now days.

Wow lots of mistakes. You need to be educated. watch you tube videos on how to handle that situation. Practice picking up the bike in you back yard. Maybe buy a smaller bike.
Yeah, you are right. Africa Twin is too big and heavy. For trail riding you want something smaller/lighter.

i so felt your pain as iv been there , thinking clear those rocks before you take off , no park brake crazy , rock behind the back wheel would have helped stop it rolling , i was cheering you to the top when you made it , good vidio joseph , more please

For long distance touring the AT is the best. 👌🏼
Great video Mate brought back my nightmares ! I did the Exact ! same thing on my 2018 Africa Twin a little lower down the track than you. Hit a big rock throw me off line and got in trouble and dropped the bike. It took me 3 lifts and drops and 90 minutes to get the bike up and out . Ive recently been back there and did it on my Suzuki DRZ400E piece of cake on that bike. The AT is very top heavy !

Add bark busters, then relocate the parking brake on the bark buster. When I added the rear brake to the left side, that’s what I did with the parking brake. I also have a DCT. Kudos.

Can't decide if this is comedy fiction or real.
It’s a DCT model so the bike is always in neutral. I damaged my right hand in an accident years ago so had to make changes to my bike. You normally have the handbrake on the left handlebar but I’ve had to modify my bike and I have the front brake on the left hand side and so no handbrake. I found out the hard way that there is no way to stop her rolling.

@@KrypticKrewProductions-yv6qw If only you'd cleared the big rocks from your wheels before the hill start, you wouldn't have fallen off. To stop the bike rolling, just shove a rag or something in between the chain and rear sprocket.
@@DanTube2010 Yes, this was the critical mistake. If I had cleared the rocks it would have been easy. Hindsight is a great thing.
A bit of Hollywood in there as it was made to look closer than it was. Maybe in the re-make, the Jekyl will come out on top.

Yeah, Mongrels. They say it’s for safety but it’s about quotas and making money. A bike can safely do 150 on those roads.
