Hi! My name is Ryan, and I'm an aspiring and creative-minded 20 year-old film director and video producer with a background in directing fictional short films & producing videos for companies and organizations. I've been extremely passionate about the art of film & the craft of filmmaking since I was 12, and now I'm looking to collaborate with creative minds to create stories together.
The Art of Death | Video Essay
Death is an inescapable and unchangeable part of life. The notion that our time in this world has an expiration date, no matter who you are, is largely what defines us and gives meaning to the things we do. But while death is absolute and unchangeable, what has changed is our understanding and perception of it. This video essay asks; how has the way we think of death changed and how is that being reflected in our art?

I’ve watched that film like 6 times, I can also recognise that opening montage from anywhere 😂 Also a massive fan of Georges Delerue’s score work in French New Wave films (Frances Ha borrowed this specific track). Would recommend checking out some of Truffaut’s films if you haven’t before Terrific short film you made btw! Tight duration and truly impactful with the end result. 🙏
