Two legends!! ❤
Dang he was only 17! He sounds better than he did on the record
Mateus da Silva Garcia:descanse em paz Ritchie valens Data de nascimento no Dia 13/05/1941 Data de falecimento no Dia 03/02/1959
Ritchie couldn't speak Spanish sohe learned "La Bamba" phonetically, by sound rather than by understanding. SOLID GOLD!!!!!
So sad Richie's life was cut so short and so tragically
Gone too soon. R.I.P. Ritchie.
Just watched La Bamba the movie for the first time (I was born in 96 so cut me some slack) but man this is awesome to hear. What a freakin talent at such a young age. I totally admire Richie. I get emotional thinking he died at 17 with such immense talent. What he could have accomplished further on in his career; no one will know. Rest in peace. Your music will live on for eternity.
This i my favorite Video here by RUclips....This 2 Great People....
That's my uncle Don playing the drums!!!! Gosh I miss him. What a blessing to have a listen and remember him. Thanks for posting this.
That's so cool!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Roy Acuff’s a little too aggressive with June ain’t he?
No. You see through the modern eyes of corruption.
I wish there was video footage of him performing at the winter dance party
Iowa killed Ritchie
Que maravilla tan joven Johnny
Amazing guys shel was
I attended Pacoima Jr. High from 1964 to 1967. The battle of the bands and concerts continued there. My friend and bass player's band the Showmen won a battle of the bands around 66 or 67. My homeroom teacher said Ritchie (years before) would bring his guitar to school and play before classes.
February made me shiver...
He was so dope
Tweaking Johnny cash was the fucking man. Holy shit he could sing
I have no idea when this show was flilmed in 1952, but it is hard to believe that Hank lived less than a year after this.
Wow! If he had sat next to me I would have passed out!
Thank you for this. It was difficult to find an original recording of this. And to hear the crowd clap together once he started playing the guitar was unreal. I closed my eyes and felt like I was there. To really be there must have been amazing. Thanks again 🙌
Why is there no recording just the sound?
Damn if ol John was feeling it right there 😂😂
This original live sound to this great balls of fire is mind blowing! Thid is the only one I've heard that sounds like your video. I am wondering is there a way you can upload you win again?
I'm curious how this was taped in the late 50's. It sounds quite good for being so old.
Quizá fue en una presentación de TV y del archivo solo quede el audio
@@manuelprado5382 that makes sense.
@@tracemontgomery5459 sobre todo pensando que bob Keane, su representante, quería vender los audios como un álbum pero si se pueden encontrarse fotos en pinterest sobre esas presentaciones
most likely with a wire recorder and a student who wanted to preserve this.
@@INDUSTRIAL_WOLF si
(May 13, 1941 - February 3, 1959),
Perhaps the unofficial father of west coast garage rock? I offer up this as evidence #1.
Much better without the clamps. For whatever reason, I always thought that they don't work with the song.
Seem to me an outtake as he messed up with the words to his own tune, haha. Nice to have it here...
Jerry Lee Lewis!
