No worries. I always have clients at this resort, so its fresh of mind. I have guests that LOVE the walkouts - a great space for the kids to run out and play. I personally prefer higher floors and the private balcony and better views. Really comes down to preference.

grassy areas. Although my friend went snorkeling for a long time, and had mentioned she wished she had water shoes. It was not rocky where I was hanging out in the water though

I wouldn't do the departure one. Beaches will get you there so early, and there is nothing to rush to on the other side

I love Kimono's and Soy. Be sure to have breakfast at Barefoot or Neptunes. The iguana island and ATV seem to be the most popular paid excursions. Enjoy!

the fall is when you get deep into the rainy season, but lower crowds. We went in June had a few showers but it was great. Of course winter its nice to escape the cold!

I do think it’s ship location. It’s a small ship you could feel some vibrations but did not hear any engine noise

I havent been to ziva RH (I’ve been to almost all the other zivas) I hear it’s a little dated. Used to be a four seasons. No waterslides or any of that. I usually quote the Hilton for families, better price and I think it’s a better resort. Even though I generally love the zivas in other places.

yup! I've been to both - VERY DIFFERENT VIBES! Cancun is very large, multiple pools, beaches, right smack in the heart of the hotell zone. PV is very small... small beach, small pools, same great food and service, but very different. I think adults only would like PV better. Teens and tweens, definitely Cancun

@Harmony Skillman, Momma To Go Travel thanks for the response, I've been to ziva in cancun several times, but recently prices have gotten ridiculous. I'm all for paying for quality but PVR is almost half of the cost per night. If the food and service are on par with cancun, I'll definitely be considering it for my next trip.

@@pwnz27 you could also check out the new Ziva in Riviera Cancun - not the best beach, but there is a waterpark and they still seem to have some intro pricing...

yes. this is an all inclusive resort. There is one dinner restaurant that requires an upcharge of $15/person, but the rest of the dining is included!

The club tower was recently refurbished and they were making their way through renovations on the main tower. The food, like at all the zivas I’ve been to, was very good

for sure! Great for families - close to airport, waterslide, good size property, and prices out well!

I have not been to one of the Palladiums - maybe next time!

hmmm grand palladium is out near Falmouth I believe. 4 star. Hilton is 4.5 star, would be similar...

the nightclub - cannot remember the name, but downstairs off the pool

Hi! I was at a training so we were assigned rooms, I did have a great view. I think mine was oceanfront since it was a high floor - all of the rooms are ocean facing. the lower ones I think they consider "view" because top of tree line. If you are looking to travel this year, splurge for CLUB level. those rooms are all renovated. Let me know if you are interested in working with a travel agent for this trip. I get some great package pricing on the Zivas

Honestly they were not. If you are in the club building you wont even see anything. I was in the regular building. The elevator was having some issue, and you could see that things were happening, but to be honest, I dont remember noise?? Trying to think - enjoy it! I loved that resort. Beautiful beach!

there are! On the main side guests in swim out must be 18+ since they are about two stories up from the beach. In the club level, 13+ they are not as high off the main level! so beautiful

I really did - I like the size of the ship - small and intimate, easy to navigate. Much older crowd though 65+ I'd say. My kids would have been bored.

@@mommatogo Thanks much. My son is almost 20 and in college, and I have done the “fun ship” stuff. Sadly and oddly enough, I now look for cruises without the water parks and kid themes. I guess it is the natural progression of life. I have a cruise booked on Celebrity next month and was looking to see what HA is like. I appreciate your help.

so the club tower has been renovated and the main is currently being renovated (june 2022) all club rooms have balconies, only some in the main tower do. Also the club level lounge has a bar, and snacks!
