Papingo, September 20, 2017 : A few minutes before sunset, and, voila! An outstanding rainbow appeared suddenly! It evolved into a double rainbow a few seconds before to vanish!

In this video you can see my little vineyard in Papingo filmed on August of 2009. The first 5 vines were planted around Villa Lanassa in the year 2007. In the following year nearly 30 vines of both local (own roots)and of french origin were planted (Debina, Amerikaniko, Mavroudi, Stafida, Ralli, Nevado, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay...). May and June of 2009 were eccessively & unusually hot in Greece, Papingo including. The period of hot and dry weather was followed by a period of afternoon/evening storms and rainfalls. @SophyaAgain : Why not ?! :-) .... Yeah, it's rather misty in the spring and always... mystical ! It's an unforgetabble experience. The solid-rock mountain gives you the impression of a castle made by giants !....
