In mid September, parts of Europe suffered severe flooding from a massive and long-lasting rainstorm. We were in Sofia, Bulgaria when all the warnings began, and we had to get to Budapest via Vienna early in the storm's approach. Here's how we managed to get through.

Grasslands National Park; 2023 Western Canada #Campervan Roadtrip

After a searing hot few days we drove through slightly milder but threatening weather from Moose Jaw SK to Grasslands West Block campground on Frenchman River. We enjoyed the more moderate weather, the antics of the prairie dogs, the gophers and the variety of birds that kept us entertained as we explored the areas around the campground. Unfortunately we didn't see bison, but had to watch our s...

Driving through Ontario from south to north it's impossible to not observe the main geographic features of our province. From our home, it's about 1,900 km (~1,200 mi) by the most direct route through the province to the border with Manitoba. And for many of those kilometres what one sees is rocks, trees and water. About 20% of the world's fresh water can be found in Canada, and much of this li...

After leaving our home province a day earlier than planned, we are greeted by a severe thunderstorm with strong winds and hail. We are travelling north and west in our 2020 Coachmen Beyond campervan, heading from southern Ontario. We are not in a hurry and plan to enjoy many different parts of our country along the way on our 2023 Yukon Bound road trip. #vanlife #Coachmen Beyond

Day 1 of our 2023 summer 'advanture'. We are setting out from the Toronto, Canada area in our 2020 Coachmen Beyond #campervan, intending to travel to the Yukon; a round trip of about 15,000 km. We have planned for lots of places to see and things to do along the road, although day 1 is just a short shakedown to get the squeaks and rattles sorted out. However, and as we leave there are many clou...

We spent 11 days of our month-long #Portugal trip in #Lisbon, and it was well worth it. Here we present snippets of some of this beautiful, hilly City. We definitely got a workout exploring the streets and alleys. There's more info on our trip on our blog at aroundouretable.com #Lisboa
Sintra Portugal 2023

While we were staying in Lisbon (video to follow...eventually) we made an overnight trip to nearby Sintra, just 45 minutes or so away on the regional train. We'd been told that #Sintra is a 'must see' destination, but despite doing some research we remained skeptical. 'Must see" destinations are seldom as good as they are made out to be. For us, Sintra turned out to be more than worth a visit, ...

After several days in #Faro, we took the train to #Lagos and spent four January days in this tourist seaside town. In this video we provide an intro to the town, including the #train station, adjacent marina restaurants, old town, promenade, a visit to the café of RUclipsr @BrendanvanSon, and of course, the incredible beaches. A Day in Porto Portugal

On our second day in #Porto we wandered down to the #Douro river, crossed over to Vila Nova de Gaia via the Ponte Luís I to strolled through the home of fabled Port Wine lodges like Taylors, Grahams, Sandeman and many others. Of course we had to sample a few of the products, too. We recrossed the river via the under renovation lower bridge and made our way through the bustling crowds enjoying t...

Very clear, very helpful. You really deserve more than 40 thumbs up for this!
Thank you so much.
Liked your video! last trip, we stayed in Victoria, for one week. Found that was not enough time, so going back, for two weeks. This time staying in Darnley. The sea food looked fantastic. Two of my family will not try oysters , or mussels!
Thank you for watching and sharing your experience.
Amazing video, please the title an the artist of the last song
Sorry we really don't know. It was our driver that sang it. We'll get back to you.
I'm going next week, really hoping the traffic is that quiet when I'm there as I'm not used to righthand drive!!! Looks beautiful!
Hope you enjoy it and the weather is nice!
Loved it!! Thanks for sharing
Thanks Leah! Miss you.
PEI is great. Getting pricey, but peaceful.
Agree very peaceful. As far as pricey, unfortunately it is the same everywhere
@@aroundouretable8053 You look like you had fun. My wife and I just bought an RV trailer and will be touring the Maritimes this summer.
Enjoy!
Thanks, we did have great time there.

Beautiful video!
Thanks for visiting
As a Coachman owner, I will eagerly follow your travels! Please tell me where to get the cab window bug screens?
Hi Sandi. Thanks for your comment. I’m way behind in posting videos. Somehow life gets in the way! They are called Air Vents. Made in Germany. We got ours from the only place I could find that had them at the time, Eurocampers.com but I just did a quick search online and found several other sources now. Enjoy your Beyond.
Enjoyed the scenery. Proves that the journey getting there is sometimes the best part.
Yep!
Thanks for sharing
LOVE OUR 2020 BEYOND basically the same ..

Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching Alexis. A lot more in the pipe.
So glad to see your videos are back and you two are out again enjoying your van.
Thanks for your support, Gary. It's nice to know that our little videos are watched and appreciated. I have a new appreciation for the effort the 'pros' put into posting videos weekly or more frequently. We're too busy experiencing to put in that much effort. Of course, the more you do, the easier it gets 🙂
Amazing , thank you for sharing this video
Thanks for watching
Look for Moroccan song Zina, Babylone
Thank you.
You're welcome!
Was so glad to see that you had a new post, and of course great to hear your health has improved. Since your last video my wife and I have finally gotten our Beyond. Took ten months from order to delivery. We will be watching for your travel videos that follow. Take care.
Thanks Gary, and congrats on finally getting delivery. We were fortunate to get Doranya off the dealer’s lot in Sep 2020 but haven’t yet realized her potential. Fingers crossed for this year, and we’ll try to report regularly on our progress. Cheers!
Glad your health is improving! Like you we can’t wait to get back out in our Beyond! Stay warm and safe til then.
Thanks Cindy. All the best to you, too!
We almost bought a 2021 Beyond in September 2020. Then we came to our senses. We bought a Coachmen Freelander 22XG instead. It has twice as much room and storage, and it’s only 24’3” long. I would not want to live in anything smaller. The only advantages of the Class B are gas mileage and parking. And we have no problem parking our small Class C anywhere. So we suffer on the gas mileage, but that’s it. We take our RV out about once a month for a few nights. We bought a brand new RV and paid $67K out the door, which is $40K less than our Beyond would have cost. Just sayin’…
Absolutely there are pros and cons for every RV type and travel style. The Beyond is right for us, and I’m happy for you that the Freelander is right for you. Happy and safe travels!
Very nice course indeed. But why always this dreadful English music, in the background?
Christian, the dreadful English music you hear is actually Spanish music. One can’t get away from it! If you look at around 2:40 you can see the TV at the end of the carriage that constantly plays music. The locals seem to love the ubiquitous entertainment, and we just accepted it as part of the culture.
@@aroundouretable8053 .As I told you, I really liked the landscapes that we see on board this train. But I think you should have put on another soundtrack, that's the only minor gripe. Nevertheless, thank you for making us travel.
@@ChristosXphstos got it. Thanks for the feedback
@@aroundouretable8053 //// It's still a music very influenced by North America, Anglo Saxon music that we hear everywhere " .ad nauseam "
Very nice packing & storing 👍🏼👏🏼
Thanks, Robert. Having such a small amount of available space, one has to really think about what one wants to pack!

Hi. Boy, are there alot of things to find out along the way when you first get going . Have fun 😁😁
Coachmen wannabe here.. Thanks for your informative video.
Thanks for the comment, Dawn. We are happy that you found the video useful. We really enjoy travelling with out Beyond. Hope to do much more next year.
Fantastico, lindo por natureza. Bolivia.

Beautiful country. Beautiful people. On our short list to return.
Nice to see what van life is REALLY like! Looks cozy and inviting to me! Thanks for sharing.
Enjoying your videos. We have the 2019 Coachman Crossfit.
Hope you are enjoying it!
Thanks for the brief overview. I've got a 1999 Dodge Road Trek that is showing its age. Been looking at the Coachmen Beyond and Nova. The link to the FB page doesn't seem to be working, is there a new group you recommend? Also, how do you like the sliding windows as opposed to the awning type on the Nova? I think I'd like the sliding type better, but I've heard they can develop leaks. Any thoughts?
Hi, Lee. Thanks for the comment. There are two similar FB groups, one of which was set up when Coachmen had to change the name of its Transit RV from Crossfit. The administrators thought they needed a different group, but found out that was not so. It's still there but inactive. Here's the url we use for the group - facebook.com/groups/coachmencrossfit. If it doesn't work, we suggest that you just search for it in FB. You have to request access, but that's pretty much a formality. As far as the sliding windows vs awnings issue goes, we can't help. Our 2020 Beyond is based on the 2019 Transit which has pop-out windows. There has been lots of discussion about this in the group. BTW, it's very active and supportive. If you want to see some other RUclips videos by Beyond owners, you may want to look up Camping Coastie and Stranger Palooza. There may be others, but these two come to mind. Cheers!
@@aroundouretable8053 Thanks Alex (or Diana!), I used your link and was able to find the group. I'll join it and do some reading. My van has been in the shop for almost two months, and I really miss it! The Beyond looks awesome, but it might be a year before I could get a new one, since apparently there aren't many available right now. In the meantime I'll watch some of your videos, and also the ones by the channels you mentioned. Lee
So glad to see that you two made a new video. Understand why you haven't, but we have been checking over the months looking for your informative productions. The wife and I are still waiting for our Beyond to be manufactured but enjoy seeing your methods of packing a B van to get some great ideas. Please do keep it up. Looking forward to seeing your travels.
Thanks, Gary. We are finally on the road and have just begun to work on a video of our first week. It’s so good to finally get away. We hope that Ford can deliver your Transit to Coachmen and they can get their hands on all the components they need. I read today that Taiwan forecasts that chip supply will be normalized by September. But there are lots of other gaps in the RV supply chain now.

I’d love to! Don’t you like my COVID cut? Seriously, I can’t wait for barbershops to reopen here.
Thanks for showing us how! I have my Beyond on order and anxiously awaiting for them to tell me when it will arrive at the dealer! Have a great 2021 season!
Glad you found it useful. It’ll be worth the wait! If you haven’t already joined the Facebook group I highly recommend it. We’ve learned so much there and it’s a very positive group. Cheers!
Yes, how the Facebook group and met Hsai from California. He was very helpful in assisting as I decided to order the Beyond. I am just west of you! I live in Rochester Hills, Michigan, across the border. Hopefully we will have a chance to meet up when the border opens and we can all travel more freely!
