My first Figuarts base Goku. Ordered it because I ordered a couple other Goku’s but none were in base. I’m more of a Vegeta guy for his smaller size and character growth. I feel like no matter how much you love your favorite character, everyone has to represent Goku in their collection 😅

Grabbed it for $119 on eBay, The after market price on it is ugly rn but I had to have one back in the collection😅🔥

I mean don’t get me wrong, Figuarts is the GOAT.

I just got the McFarlane TNBA blue version of the costume figure. I love it, my first Batman collectible figure, and I love Batman. I only began collecting figures this year, almost entirely dragon ball Figuarts, and I feel like collectible action figures have gotten waaay better lately compared to what I remember seeing growing up. When I was growing up most adult’s collectibles looked high quality but super wonky, never like the show. Now stuff actually looks like the show so I’ve gotten into it.

Yea I just recently went outside of collecting just dragonball figuarts, Ofc as a kid I use to play with all the toys from every movie that came out that I enjoyed. I’ve always been into so many different IP’s since a kid wether its marvel, dc, transformers, dragonball even horror movies, With seeing how good these mcfarlane figures & others are capturing the perfect likeness to characters I grew up watching, I think that’s what finally made me pull the trigger😂

@@SickTwisted I stg, one I don’t see any of the movies as cannon except for the new broly movie & super hero. Two the cooler movies are just the Frieza saga all over again just like resurrection of F. & I Hate shxt like that😂

@@THEFIGUREVERSE yea thats true, none of those movies are canon except the new Broly movie and Super Hero, but tbh the way i see the movies, mostly the non-canon movies, i only focus on cool things and cool concepts like the villains and shit, instead of the plots and story. like for example, i would watch Fusion Reborn because of Janemba, i think he is dope, and i honestly prefer the original Broly, in the non-canon movie, i like brutal mindless psychopathic killers, and Z Broly fit that really well, but of course i know why they had to change him for Super, because a character like that wouldn’t really work, and probably the same with other non-canon characters, but one i do hope they make canon one day, is Janemba, he is dope asf

Nah that ain’t the case at all with these ones, most stuff they get in is used & they over charge bad for it, it’s been multiple times I have brought in brand new sealed figures that are worth $60 or more & they try to offer $10 for it, They move just like scalpers online & that’s exactly y the store is crowded & overstocked, noones stupid enough to pay the prices that there putting on this stuff😂

@ That’s crazy, the comic stores that I go to don’t sell used figures and they won’t take in anything that has been opened or used in any way. I’ve sold a couple figures to the shops that I go to and I always get a fair price. But it sucks that you’ve experienced that. It’s utterly ridiculous tbh.
