    Rachel can I use as well present progressive to describe what medications patients are taking.?

    • @aceswithrachel
      @aceswithrachel 3 месяца назад

      Hi Narda, great question! Yes, you can. Here are 3 common ways to express medications: 1. The patient is taking antibiotics for the infection (present progressive) 2. The patient has ben prescribed antibiotics for the infection (present perfect - passive) 3. Medications include: antibiotics for the infection, ibuprofen for the pain, etc. (can be used if there are several medications) *You can also say: The patient is on antibiotics (this is less formal, with just the preposition 'on')* I hope this helps!

      Yep for sure you can; however, some jobs require the reading of lots of names, so it's not always practical to ask every time. Great to start to build that autonomy through pattern recognition.
