A leopard doesn't change it's spots!! Sheela is adept at reflecting aspects of Osho:s vision, expressing her love and loyalty, so you get drawn in and feel that she's expressing the truth. But then she weaves into this statements that are not true - at best her own assumptions and projections. The elephant in the room being that Osho stated very publicly that it was his decision to change his name to Osho, and it was connected with a vision from a Buddhist mystic that he was to become the vehicle for the third body of Gautama the Buddha, and this is what triggered the process that eventually lead to the name change, where Osho himself stated the use of the name Bhagwan was a joke. She is also outright lying in saying Osho's discourses and name were never previously subject to copyright protection. They were, during the time in America and before that in India. There is no way that she was not aware of this - but I guess she could claim she conveniently forgot this minor detail!! I also find her statements about Osho's doctor (who she tried to have murdered) and others around Osho drugging him to be very revealing - for what might have been her own intentions if she had remained in a position of power in the commune in America. Her position of power and control depended on Osho being in silence, and her role as the only channel of communication between him and his disciples. This very quickly unraveled when Osho started speaking again. I was there in Rajneesh Mandir in the moment when Osho announced that we were no longer required to wear read, and that all the colours of the rainbow were now available to us. I remember how Sheela leapt to her feet as soon as Osho had left the podium, to say something to the effect of he didn't really mean this. She appeared to be visibly panicked, and I had an intuitive flash in that moment that she was in competition with him! In the light of what subsequently came to light, I now feel my intuitive insight was spot on! In which case she. certainly had a clear motive for drugging him so that he would no longer be speaking publicly. And there were certainly other vested interests outside of the commune who also wanted to silence him, because of what he was exposing about the corruption of political leaders, which Sheela also refers to at the start of the interview. So I feel what Sheela is not saying or revealing is as interesting as what she does say.

No excuses and reasons are accepted, other than the reasons offered by OSHO himself.
