Celebrating 10-Years at the Greening the Desert Project, Jordan
Просмотров 149 тыс.5 лет назад
The Greening the Desert (GTD) Project started with the purchase of land about ten years ago, and it expanded slowly until that mounted into exponential growth. Things started at the top, literally, with a large water tank that feeds a shower/toilet block just downhill. This stuff is important for so many people who starve. Learn how to use permaculture. Great products, naturally grown, no pesticides or artificial fertilizer needed. Chickens eat the waste food material, producing eggs and great chicken meat.

    FAKE NEWS. YOU NEED RAIN.

    • @lofm6213
      @lofm6213 19 дней назад

      You do not need the rain as much. Jordan buys over 100 million cubic meters of water from Israel each year now. Israel has got the desalination plants converting salty sea water into drinking water and they have a large surplus of water now to send to the neighboring countries like Jordan.

    I don´t understand why Billions of $$$ had been invested in Africa, and they are still not able to feed themselves. They are too stupid to develop themselves, since it´s more easy to ask the world for money, or just be politically corrupted.

    To Geoff- have you received an invite to meet with the world leaders at the UN yet? You've shown us how we could reverse the food crisis and solutions to the deforestation crisis. I'm sure the UN would find value in your input towards some solutions to the environmental challenges the world is facing today. I give thanks your videos ending up on my recommendations to watch! THANK YOU!!

    Hi Love your work and videos Have adopted all your ideas on small scale I have just seen video,where they say urine and excrement from animals is actually harming soul also that it is impetigo E to test soil weekly to see if it's good enough for say grass and they then say soil for grass is not good enough for vegetables and soil that is good for veg but not grass is no good for trees Surely this is crap Nature deals with natural biomass etc worms and all insects and animals,except humans contribute Would like you're view if poss For my own minds sake,not to be contentious In any event hope you a well You deserve a medal, it's a shame money does not want anything but more money,so the rich don't want your endeavours to succeed globally But they would willingly have you as guest token speaker That says it all, the world needs a massive change away from money and to regenerative no till permaculture Love you Nick Lomas London England
