That is the worst feeling in the world. When you know something is not right you can't exactly put your finger on it but that particular person gives you the creeps and then I feel bad because everyone is captivated by this person who claims to be a Healer and wants to lay hands on people and I just have the feeling inside just please don't touch me I have learned from experience that pastors are not very quick to listen to women who say something is just not right here😢

All gifts are ours. We are just better at using some than others because of lifes "training." To acknowledge and focus on your strengths, only makea them stronger.

Can you please pray for me, ive been tormented by a terrible medical condtion for nearly 8 years and would be truly grateful for a word from the Lord.

I didn’t say everyone can have every gift. I’m only specifically talking about being prophetic in this podcast episode. Not everyone is a prophet. But all can be prophetic. To prophesy simply means to speak forth the mind and heart of God. I encourage you to watch the whole podcast. See Joel 2:28-32 1 Cor. 14:1 - pursue love and desire, spiritual gifts, and above all that you may prophesy. 1 Cor. 14:39- therefore, my brothers, be eager to prophesy, and not forbid speaking other languages.

Not true. In those days many gifts will be given. 1 is prophecy. You don't get to have all the gifts. Stop misleading people

I enjoyed this! Great work expanding and breaking this down. In other words, Prophecy is: The Declaration of a Revelation. The implications of this are huge! The partnership of the Holy Spirit in the process of redeeming the cosmos might hinge on this key, because this would mean, in obedience to the Great Commission in Declaring the Gospel (Euangélion = the REVELATION of good news) every believer participates with the gift and Spirit of Prophecy in the sowing of seed. Bro, this is profound and pondering on this produces a delight in my soul. Religion under the law felt more comfortable with the condition of personal contribution rather than the conclusion of what faith reveals. The “in Christ” revelation is key to God’s dealing with man. It is the PIN-code of the Bible. All creation waits with anticipation in fact, for the firm and final conclusion, the highest regarded opinion, and the total amount of one's esteem, or Glory to be made known. That Glory, that final conclusion, that Doxa and total amount of esteem, was poured out and preserved in Christ, so it is that Christ we proclaim, and by the Spirit of Christ awakened within us, prophesy the word of the Lord unto salvation. Our lives now represent the one event every creature anticipates with held breath, standing on tip-toe as it were to witness the unveiling of the sons and daughters of God.

I grew up indoctrinated with "tongues are demonic" and had no idea how it worked. Nobody shared the gospel with me...Jesus himself came and saved me. I didn't know about the baptism in the Holy Spirit. I went about 5 years with no church home, being taught by the Holy Spirit...and youtube university...so I picked up correct biblical teaching by the Holy Spirit...but I also picked up the "fear-factor" preaching that all conflicted. Tongues are demonic, tongues are heavenly. Christians can be possessed; Christians can't be possessed...with scripture successfully twisted to uphold the teacher. It was all very confusing. The Holy Spirit moved me to the middle of nowhere, far from unsaved family. He gave me a non-dom church and hooked me up with a small group. I picked up false teachings that the Holy Spirit had to correct over and over. Jesus will have unity; but I came from a place of watching and even in Christian bashing...of which I was corrected. I was baptised, and then years went by. Jesus sent me to be rebaptized/redicated right after I learned rededication is right up there with blasphemy in some churches. I did not receive tongues when I was rededicated. Nothing really happened except that I got wet...but my heart had healed a LOT over the years. Anyway...I received the Holy Spirit at home, alone, when I called on Jesus for help. I felt myself being sealed. And then...the desire was placed in me to learn about tongues. And I was still...uh-uh, nope. lol. But...no Christian gets a baby Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Holiness, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ...He comes fully equipped with every spiritual blessing. What one operates in...is dependent on how submitted they are to the LORD. I researched for a year the yay's and nay's. The Holy Spirit gave me the desire, and all the research got rid of the fear. I had hands laid on me for impartation and...nuthin. I went home and watched videos and...nuthin. I got frustrated. Why would the Holy Spirit have me do all that research if I wasn't gonna speak in tongues. And...I said so. And I whined. Why won't you help me pray in tongues. I was determined to say the sounds of the alphabet for the rest of the night...and I started and halfway through the alphabet...tongues kicked in. It wasn't any baby language. It wasn't beginning sounds. It was a full-fledged, super-fast language that sounded like a mixture of something from the middle east, or South America, or from Europe. If you are a frequent flyer...you know what languages you hear as you travel. You may not know what exact language, or exactly where the person is from, but you know middle-eastern languages when you hear them. I speak mainly in Greek, Hebrew, Romantic Languages...but it switches often, but it is always a language. When the Holy Spirit wants me to know...He gives me awareness of what I am praying about. Most of the time, I have no idea of what the Holy Spirit is praying, although sometimes...He speaks scripture and I think worships. People can say there is no such thing as a private prayer language...smh...lol. English can be a private prayer language to someone who does not speak English. As for interpretation...sometimes I get an interpretation, but mostly as I pray I get the idea that the Holy Spirit is praying what really needs to be prayed, because most of the time...we are clueless. I feel relaxed and at peace after I pray. I know kind of when I am interceding. I find that God believes in immersion. He gives you the language...and then over the years...gives you understanding. Mark says that tongues is a sign of a believer. But those that refuse to submit their mouths for the LORD's use... jump up and down and say that it's not true. The bible says what the bible says. Believers will speak with new tongues. It's a statement of Jesus...they shall speak with new tongues. Those that speak in tongues have surrendered their mouths to the LORD; others still want to keep control. They are still worried about "how it looks". I don't care how stupid it looks...God will use the foolish things of the world to bring down the know it alls. It was hard to submit my mouth to the LORD using it without my understanding, but...I keep learning to stay out of God's business and try to just do what He says...trusting in Him and His word. No Born again believer will be given a demonic tongue...because fathers don't do that to their children. God speaks through me, over me, and uses all kinds of prayers to do all kinds of things and I am determined to not hinder God...even though sometimes I do. God is good. His plans for me are good. He came for me. Saved me. And then proceeded to build me up...and getting rid of my fear of tongues, my disdain for tongues, my ignorance about tongues...was just a part of the process. I think tongues is the major way God gets things done on this earth. Besides...when you pray in tongues and miracles happen...none of us can get the glory...because God did it!!! My prayer is the same as Paul's: I would that everyone spoke in tongues. It strengthens me before, during, and after the attacks of darkness. The LORD gave me this gift...nobody gets to remove it except Him. So now...I just bless those that walk in fear of tongues, that refuse to submit their mouths for the LORDs use. They don't really know what goodness they are missing.

You can't be justified while being married to the law. You have to die to the law and become married to Christ. It's not about the Apostle Paul per se, but about anyone including Paul who has ever been trying to be justified using the Law as a standard. Antinomians😮 love this passage because it allows them to justify their sin by saying that even Paul could not live up to the standard of the law. But that's not what it's about.
