So glad I found this. It looks super easy and delicious, an excellent base cake that would be terrific with vanilla ice cream on the side. Think I'll make this in a cast iron skillet (a trick from Betty Crocker; it really helps caramelize nicely) and sprinkle some chopped pecans between/on the peach slices.

I tried this and these tasted great. I skipped the brown sugar just because I didn’t have any but I think that would have made them better. The apples were plenty sweet though, so I was alright skimping on some sugar just a bit. Thanks for the recipe though. I’ll definitely be making them again tonight with some pork chops or something.

I love fried apples they are so good. I make them every so often. Like them just about any time. They are good as a side dish with pork chops fried chicken, roast turkey and with French toast for breakfast. Some times I add a few raisins or dried cranberries when I make them for just something a little difference. They are also good on waffles or pancakes, even with biscuits. Whatever I am in the mood for. Just have to think about it somtimes.
