Which piece was being played at the beginning?
The third movement of Sonata No. 3.
One has to be very careful no to play to fast, to keep adherence to the phrasing & with a minimum of articulation. Remember, this was a study work piece for the sons. The best way to study this is to record oneself a couple of times, and listen very carefully, then select the best version to work with until it really gets there!
The "Carillon de Westminster" must have sounded rather strange on this instrument... It's perfect though for these wonderful trio sonatas.
