Ive been handcuffed in front of my whole apartment once. Most humiliating thing of my life. Why? I had panic attacks, my roomie was on a trip and i felt a danger to myself. I asked my family to call for a welfare check so i could get a ride to the hospital. They told me in canada you have to be publically handcuffed and put in the back of the car for them to give me a lift. 🙄😕 When i got home, my landlord qas doing all of these sketchy checks on "the water tank" or enter something else. He had gotten calls from a nosy neighbour and obviously thought i was a criminal. 😢 I didnt even get in to the hospital the officer left who was supposed to make sure i get in for my safety and said "well im supposed to wait here but this is voluntary of you so imma leave ok?"and hinted not to ratthem out Ten the wait was over 12 hours and it was freezing in there. So i bussed home or called a friend,don't remember
