Ok, here it comes... #1 of 2 "Vacation-Lapse" Videos. A beautiful Sunset at the Pismo Beach Pier in California. In this one I accidentally messed up the focus setting at the beginning, but I noticed this a little later and re-set the focus - meh.. shit happens ;-) It's still an nice scenery with beautiful colors and a amazing mood. It was very nice to see and experience it live and in real time...

Playing wildly with time-remapping in this sequence, to see what I can do with it and how it will look in the finished product. Unfortunately, I screwed up the camera settings and got in a lot of flickering and later after dusk some very noisy images. The original footage was so bad that at first I did not want to work with. But later I thought that the invested time would otherwise be complete...

Sorry, had to upload it again, because RUclips has cut the 4K resolution. Thanks for your question :-) My previous upload is the same scene but with 30fps through the whole footage. ruclips.net/video/1tjwwzC5-8s/видео.html I didn't record the scene as a video with my GoPro. I set up the camera to took one single picture every 10 seconds for roughly 8 hours, so there is no way to play the footage at a "normal or natural" speed, sorry.
can I use that video for my Let's Rutsch 2015? I like that!

How do you compensate for exposure for a day to night or night to day video? Most tutorials tell you to shoot in full manual but how will that work when your exposure is set to capture stars (long exposure in bulb) and then the sun comes up and your exposures are then WAY too high?
Hi and sorry for the long delay. I didn't received a notification about your comment. Those transitions (day to night or night to day) I shoot completely in manual mode.but then you MUST regularly adjust your exposure-time (and/or aperture and iso). hope that helps you understand what it needs to do such transitions. sure, some tools exists that do this automatically, but these are way to expensive for an amateur/hobby photographer.
