Sorry but these trinary notes are cool but nothing to write home about. But if you like it, collect it. It's not worth much but just a little over face.
Sorry Mr. Laivincent but you need to educate yourself a little more in what is truly contained in this collection. A trinary alone or several trinaries combined may not be anything special. But when you have 11 of them combined in an endless array of combinations with no deviation from the original three numbers you have truly something unique. It breaks new ground because it is a collection that not many people have if any people have. I found three more trinaries with the same numbers so the unique masterpiece set is 14 not 11. Who do you know that can match that or surpass that? No one I bet, zero. I will try to finish the masterpiece trinary set with a binary serial number 67766666. If I am able to do that then my masterpiece is complete. Also many of the trinaries I have contain fancy serial numbers called four pair notes. Watch a video on RUclips called "The Ultimate Guide To Fancy Serial Number Collecting". A little over four minutes into that video a guy named Sam will explain what a 4 pair note is and its value on the secondary market. Also many of the trinaries contain two triples and a double on one trinary and like I said I have 14 in all that have the same set of numbers which are 067. Each trinary is highly valued at 97 % or better at Fancy Serial Number Checker.com. So without a doubt this collection is truly unique special and one of a kind.

I bought a strap of 2’s that are new and are all star notes, what does that make them worth?
Easily double maybe a little more. Save them protect them. In 5 to 10 years, they will be worth five to ten times what they are worth now. I think they have stopped making two dollars bills so the value will increase even more over time. Especially for new untouched star notes!!!
@@Meticulous_Treasures They're still making $2 bills, but they are no longer making star notes. So they may indeed be worth increasingly more someday due to the stars. :-)

Glad to see another currency collector. I do have to pass on some advice. Before that I have to state that I support anyone's choice to collect what they want and like. I see that you are into serial numbers that maybe 'fancies' - I'll admit that's not my deal but I respect them after collecting for over 25 years. But trinaries and quads really don't have a large value over face if any. Don't believe everything you hear on RUclips and eBay. The true test of a value of any banknote is to take them into a Local Coin/Currency Shop and try to sell them. Quads and Trinaries can easily be found in strap searching and you can do that for free - please do not pay for these types of notes. Currently there is a thing right now about a $2 2003 where someone is trying to sell one for $600. The real deal is a 2003 Star Note with a very low serial number - which by being low is considered 00000999 or less.
