    Why is K3 exactly the same on both sets of equations? You said one is keeping positive the other is negative, but the K3 term is identical

    • @thedanielk.project4998
      @thedanielk.project4998 3 года назад

      K3 is technically positive in one equation and negative in the other but we wrote the equations in a way so that they can be substituted into the other equations. They both have a negative sign because in one equation we wrote -k3(z-y)=u and the other is -k3(y-z)=u. It appears they are the same because of the z and y flipping in the parenthesis. Hope that clears the confusion up but it was written that way strictly for substitution purposes.

    • @thedanielk.project4998
      @thedanielk.project4998 3 года назад

      If I am looking at the same part, that being the 2 equations in the second row, I used substitution from one of those to the other. They are pretty much the same equation but because the x and y, and y and z are flipped it changes the signs. This is done strictly for later substitution purposes. Hope that helps! Let me know if you think I missed something or am looking at the wrong part. Thanks!

      @@thedanielk.project4998 I mostly have questions about how liquids act in microgravity. Water is sticky - how would it behave when it touched the sides of the bowl? Would it stick there? Would the air flow be enough to move it when it was sticking there? Would the liquid tend to spread out and cover the sides of the container, or would it ball up? I guess these questions could be rendered moot by coating the whole interior in some super-hydrophobic substance so the liquid wouldn't stick. What's to prevent the liquid from following the air into the air intake and getting into the fan?

    • @EpsilonIsGreaterThan

      Possible solution to keeping the liquid waste in place - put some highly absorbent disposable material in the waste container, so that once the liquid reached that area, it would stay contained.

    its sooo similar to what i had made😂😂. but i submitted it long before. mine one is a bit different, a kind of advance. I have used a different method for separating waste from air because if we use a semi permiable membrane then waste will collect over it and block it. Because their is no gravity, waste will flow with air and collect over the separation membrane. Also when air is circulating again and again then it will carry bacteria with it an also odour, this needs to be cleaned, i have used ultraviolet light to fall on air continuously and kill all bacteria (99.2%) also whole inside is copper plated(kill bacteria by contact killing). Air passes through an activated carbon filter which reduces the odour very effectively. So when the use have to sit on it or remove the waste, then odour will not spread outside. Also we know that they are not recycling this waste, so i prepared a mechanism to eject waste into space, away from craft(water instantly vaporizer and vanish in vaccum, only solid waste remains which will continue moving away from craft, due to inertia) and if this waste enters into earth atmosphere then it will burn down in atmosphere. Whole setup weight 7.5kg Consume 69watts Volume 0.11m3 Noise around 45db
