I agree with you on the vague posting. It's not a valid complaint to say it's taken out of context as that's impossible. The poster deliberately removes the context to make it vague. I've seen other people react when their vague-posts go wrong by also claiming "out-of-context." However, out-of-context doesn't simply mean that people came to a different conclusion than someone wants. A person has a certain responsibility to communicate effectively. If people get things wrong because someone's statement is convoluted, vague, or confusing, that's the fault of the speaker.

I'll be honest, I kinda get where Kami was coming from. The merch drop felt a bit confusing at first but I think Pipkin explains it; it's a re-debut, not their initial debut. For some people though, it may be their first time seeing and experiencing the vtuber and may not realize that.

Reputation is everything, so Kami can only blame himself for the reaction toward his take. Honestly, his response to all this is pretty much typical: 1st. Backtracking (It’s not my intention to) 2nd.
