Glinda and the wicked witch of the west being friends is a very stupid idea. How did this get so popular? The story is so bad.

I think this show ruined Idina’s voice. Her voice sounds so much more free and relaxed early on in this show.

This cast have very vocally praised the "Hollywood rubbish", been involved and in touch from before casting, and even featured in the film. And anyway, even if they weren't, I don't think it's necessary to tear the new down in order to praise the original
I was blessed enough to have a grandma who took me to see Wicked when I was visiting her in San Francisco when I was 13, so with its original (pre-Broadway) cast. That night is burned into my memory, for good. Thank you grandma. Now it's my turn to help expose the kids in my life to great art.
Coming back to this old video after seeing the movie. If anyone can answer, that's in Ripley-Grier, right? I saw this video before without noticing. But I'm not sure. It's definitely the same chair racks and windows and general vibe.
Now that I have seen part 1 of the movie, what I have been thinking immediately after I came back to my senses at the end, is how emotional I will be by the end of part 2 because of this song. It will break many people's hearts for sure, once again.
Always makes me cry. Their harmonies are so tight! I wish I could have seen them when they were in the show.
