I was blessed enough to have a grandma who took me to see Wicked when I was visiting her in San Francisco when I was 13, so with its original (pre-Broadway) cast. That night is burned into my memory, for good. Thank you grandma. Now it's my turn to help expose the kids in my life to great art.
Coming back to this old video after seeing the movie. If anyone can answer, that's in Ripley-Grier, right? I saw this video before without noticing. But I'm not sure. It's definitely the same chair racks and windows and general vibe.
Now that I have seen part 1 of the movie, what I have been thinking immediately after I came back to my senses at the end, is how emotional I will be by the end of part 2 because of this song. It will break many people's hearts for sure, once again.
These two are definite professionals.....I pretty much get chocked up every time I hear this song....I don't know how they got through it night after night
Wow uploaded in April 2007 is crazy cool
Stephen did all of the work, what's Winnie bs'ing about 😂
She wrote the show’s book in case you don’t know, book:play, screenplay:movie
Amazing! I feel like I’m really experiencing them
Crying…
I love both of them, true gems
너무 풋풋하고 아름답다
December 2024. Cant wait for Wicked Part Two next year! 🩷💚
Wicked the movie brought me back here. Original cast is always the best.
Glinda and the wicked witch of the west being friends is a very stupid idea. How did this get so popular? The story is so bad.
You have to see the whole story from the begining to get it
And now wer're stuck with two anorexic weirdos in the movie version 😑
You have many options to choose from and the live musical is still and will continue to be made, you're not stuck with anything
You’re the only weirdo here.
I AM SOBBING
❤❤
Omg...just babies ❤️❤️❤️❤️
2007 is 17 years ago? Whattt
Kristine and Idina do a cameo in the movie. Go see it. Ariana and Cynthia Eviro are wonderful. Well done movie.
Can’t wait to hear Cynthia & Ariana’s rendition of this song
This is my favorite song but it makes me cry!
The talent is unmatched....TRULY!
Gosh! Very moving behind the scenes clip
3:28!
I am here after watching, Wicked - the movie. Anyone else with me? 🎉
I actually saw the original cast. Appreciating my luck so much more now.
So heartfelt and touching to hear them. Thank you.
I think this show ruined Idina’s voice. Her voice sounds so much more free and relaxed early on in this show.
I think it did ruin her voice, my voice teacher said the same thing you just said.
Aw :( maybe it’s just a result getting older? Sometimes singers may not sound the same at 35 as they do in their 50s! At least I think so ❤️❤️
I wish all the guys would shut up and let us hear the song.
“[Those] guys” wrote the song, explained why they wrote it, and made changes where they did. But obviously, you’re not here for the process
This is the best cast and no hollywood rubbish can take that away

Always makes me cry. Their harmonies are so tight! I wish I could have seen them when they were in the show.
My favorite song and literally can be a farewell song to a friend, lover, etc
I miss early 2000s much better times
Yeah. Tell me about it.
Ummmmmm 9/11? Iraq war? Afghan war? Tsunami that killed 240,000 people?
This was always our song. Miss you, my friend. Always do, but a little more keenly this time of year ♡
😔😪 May all your precious memories bring happiness in the void that continues
@@zoecunningham3019❤❤ thank you
I wanna hear them rehearsing this without everyone talking over it tho
RIGHT
Sort of like finally hearing your song on the radio and the DJ just talks over it.
They will always be the best, the 2024 version blah.
I haven’t watched this clip in years. I love how Idina just looks at Kristen 😢🫶🏽
Does anyone know where this original documentary is? Or have a copy of it somewhere? I really would like to see it in its entirety!
I don’t mean to be rude but why did Kristin feel the need for facial enhancement surgery she was so beautiful!!
wicked is so special. i can’t wait for the movie

Stephen Oremus is so Handsome 😍😍😍
And today is the Wicked‘s 20th anniversary day💚
These two are definite professionals.....I pretty much get chocked up every time I hear this song....I don't know how they got through it night after night
This clip belongs in a museum to be preserved for the rest of time. Arguably the best Broadway show of all time
Such an emotional song
I saw wicked in 2015 it was great but I would have loved to see the original cast but unfortunately I wasn’t alive at that time👎
