    Similar problem with my ca-901 :(

    HI. I purchased the CA701 and have been using it for a week. It only makes that noise on some keys, and it's very slight, but the strange thing is that it doesn't always do it. If I press a key and it makes a noise, then I press the next key and that also makes a noise, and so on. Then if I hit those keys, it doesn't do it anymore. It almost seems like there is something small that has come loose, and when you play, this something moves. I will contact Kawai to find out what they tell me.

      Did you hear back from Kawai? I’m experiencing the same problem on mine that was delivered last week.

    Hi, it was a new product or coming from a stock? I have heard issue with old model of RHIII keyboard. I'm goingo to evaluate a ca701 instead a casio GP310 and I would to know more. Thanks.

    Yikes I have a CA 49 I bought last year and it does not have that sound at all when turned off or on. Oh yeah they need to fix it. That sucks.

    • @geu6270
      @geu6270 11 месяцев назад

      I will add my es8 was just noisy as heck and you could not play it with the speakers turned down too low but it was the quote natural action built into it that many of complained about on piano world but no clicking. RH3 action vs your piano that has the GF3. I believe both of those are right as far as naming the actions.

      @derbenutzer2011 8 месяцев назад

      @@geu6270 Yes, Kawai also stated it was "a normal sound of the built in piano action" . Fortunately the store i bought it from took it back.

      Yes, i got the CLP 775. It solved the Problem :)

    • @derbenutzer2011
      @derbenutzer2011 8 месяцев назад

      There was no solution for the clicking noise problem on the CA 701 howsoever, because Kawai Service didnt even recognize it as an issue.

    • @sammmaay
      @sammmaay 5 месяцев назад

      @@derbenutzer2011 so Kawai just said it was completely normal? I just got one and it’s significantly better than the video, but there are definitely random clicks that are ruining the playing experience. I’m worried because the dealer I bought from has a no return policy.

    Kawai has more models with key problems.... the es8, mp11se, mp7se.... was interested in the ca701.... not anymore....

    • @derbenutzer2011
      @derbenutzer2011 8 месяцев назад

      Hey thanks for your comment. I can now tell, that the CLP 775's action is not quite as "soft" as the Kawai CA 701 and 901's, but it has no disturbing sounds at all, so i think i might even stick with that one. Although its tempting to try and get my hands on a CA 701 that is actually working as intended.

      Same thing is happening to me with my 2 month old 901 and I can tell it's getting worse. The worst part is my piano was shipped from overseas so getting it fixed or refunded for free is practically impossible. 😢

    • @derbenutzer2011
      @derbenutzer2011 8 месяцев назад

      @@pogospin984 Oh man that sucks so much.. i feel with you. Try telling Kawai, that they need to send out a technican, who should be able to fix the loose platic end caps of the keys by glueing them or using washers. It helped for another guy with the same clicking problem. But the problem is, that you will have to convince Kawai that this an actual problem.

      @@pogospin984 Did you ever reach out to Kawai about your issue?

  • @nostgeoffhi-fi

    Um that’s not normal. I think what you’re hearing are the letoff and sensor mechanisms which are plastic, but I have the CA49 (Grand Feel Compact) and mine doesnt make that sound when it is turned off. It almost sounds like the key is missing its upper felt pads. So sorry this happened, and hope Kawai can get a technician out to you. This is why I also did not want to invest in an expensive digital cause no matter how good they sound, you’re still dealing with electronics that could go at any time. Also a good tip is to keep your piano plugged into a surge-protected power strip. My ex cooked her tv once when there was a power outage and the surge when the power came back on killed her $3,000 brand new curved format tv. Hope it all turns out well for you! Good thing Kawai has the 10 year warranty. My next piano will definitely be an acoustic baby grand or upright. Probably Kawai or if I find one for a good deal a mellow sounding Bluthner.

    • @derbenutzer2011
      @derbenutzer2011 8 месяцев назад

      Thanks for your comment! Indeed Kawai stated that this absolutely normal. I am disappointed with Kawai, because i really liked how soft the action was compared to the CPL 775 that i got now.
