i Own Several Other Drones -- The EXO Ranger Is A Good Drone -- I Still Have & Fly The Ranger -- It Is Easy To See -- Easy To Fly -- Flys Good - Has A Good Camera -- No Complaints Here --
@@erniemiller3297 Thanks for your reply. How does it compare to other brands (DJI, etc.)? Pro’s and con’s? Is it a common practice to have to recalibrate (doing all the rotating exercises) a drone every time you change the battery? Value dollar for dollar, is there one you’d recommend over the Ranger? I picked one up at an "after Christmas sale". Great little drone for the money. I just wish it came with multiple battery packs.

The CG Is Pretty Much According To The Manual - Maybe A Little Nose Heavy - - I Use a Couple Different Lipo's -- A 5000 & A 4000

The XS kinda by definition has a large lycoming based engine. I looked up the N number in the video and it says Jabiru 3300 on board.
The Jabari 3300 is one of the engine's recommended for the XS. The advantage of building 3300 powered XS is you can fly at more than the 1320 pound weight limit.
@@philipritson8821: A plane with the 3300 but not the mods to be LSA would be called a “Classic”. I spent two years at Arion building my XS.

Needs a good 10oz of ballast to fly in that wind. Aspire's have pretty good airfoil for windy days when ballasted up.
You could probably do a scale three blade and still have good performance.

Got The 2600 Ascend, pretty much impressed with the performance except whenever it gets windy it is hard to control. For the price it was good. 👍
