Never rush and fly with your white balance in auto mode. The flickering in the video is from the white balance changing back and forth.

Great video of the skyline. And speaking for myself. I sure do want to take it nice and slow to the cemetery 😁. Going to try to go out flying on Wed the 11th. Haven't decided where yet, but more then likely Port Jeff.

yeah you need to check it out. You can reach the marina and the cove if you launch from a center position. Well worth the attempt.

Passed that Silvercup many times. I worked on 47th ave and 34th street. LIC. Do you know of the place Gallagers 2000 on Queens Blvd. My good friend, and best man owned that back around 1974 when it was just a little topless bar. He was also partners with the Gallagers in College Point. Don't know if that on is still there.
Do I know it ? I was a frequent flyer there in my 20’s. Loved that place !!!

The music is such a big part of the video. Makes the scene so much more dramatic. NICE! Posted my flight on the Shinnecock Canal. It was a real nice day out and will go back when boats are on the water.

It's now Monday April 8th and tomorrow me and my buddy are taking our Mini 3 pros to the Shinnecock Canal Hampton Bays. I know you went there about a year ago. I watched your video just now of your flight there. Looks like a real nice day with low winds. Probably getting there between 10 and 10:30am. Plan on first parking at the Canal Café which is closed on Tuesdays. Good for us.
Yeah do it. Fly low if possble, thats the mistake that I made.
@@wayneflisummerlinphotography I did fly low a little, but mostly around 100 to 150ft. Parked right along side the canal on both the north and south ends. A few guys fishing. Flew under the Steel railroad bridge and (watch those low hanging wires) Close call. My friend and I will edit soon. What a nice day out today. We will go back when the boats are on the water. We did like flying there.

The video looks awesome, and I really enjoyed it. You hit home again for me!!! You know I'm an old Bklyn, Queens man. My father took me on the parachute (1964) age 10. I remember crapping my pants a the top. Went on the Cyclone once. Sick to my stomach. Stuck with Thunderbolt coaster from then on.
Sorry to bring back such vivid memories but we enjoy hearing about them
