Brilliant song - what a great era the 80s were. It's funny though - the melody in the first line of the verse reminds me of "Please release me" by Engelbert Humperdink.

Iron Maiden one of my all-time favorite bands a huge inspiration to playing and creating music, this is great to hear I went to this concert July 1st 1981 at the Capital Centre in Largo, MD they were opening for Judas Priest on the Point of Entry tour a tremendous concert and pairing of bands, of course being there live when there's 20, 000 people is where it does it justice, but to hear some kind of audio of it is tremendous, we used to play this back in 1983 a lot as Cast Iron then in 2022 I did a cover of it featuring three awesome musicians, Mr. Scott Foster Harris former vocalist of LA Guns, Mr. Martin Motnik bassist for Accept and Mr. Jason Hartless drummer for Ted Nugent, I first came across Iron Maiden flipping through the record bins at Waxi Maxies where I bought most of my records back in the day and saw the cover of Killers and the band picture on the back and thought this should be good, LOL....and it sure was, used to play it all the time, sometimes you wonder if certain audio or film footage exists to certain things and here it is a really tremendous find!!!

I know it's a bootleg, but it sounds like Jon is singing from the hallway, without a mic. I couldn't hear him until the "I get up, I get down " segment. Chris bass is too upfront in the mix. The drums are too muffled (except for the cymbals!). Rick was also fairly low in the mix, too. Great performance though! Needs a remastering and remixing. Okay, enough of my nit-picking and whining. Thankful we have this slice of Yes history!

HOW can anyone say NO when they hear YES? Through the years there have been many line ups and versions of performers on Stage....eyes closed and the lights turned off, YES sound like YES! But visually, my all time YES line up would be Jon singing, Rick tinkering the ivory keys, Bill behind the Kettles, Chris thumping his Bass Axe and Mr. Howe Strumming The Stars a bit "Closer To The Edge"! Cheers 🤟

Just found this CHANNEL waiting for it's turn to be heard in my YT mailbox today and when it spoke it said "Patience really is worth waiting for"...AMEN! I'm a hound for LIVE Music! It's amazing how sometimes the Live Version can be even better than The Studio version! Having seen literally hundreds of shows from small dingy clubs to colossal Stadium shows, it's still fun for me to compare live shows from the same group or artist. They play the same songs but depending on many factors and circumstances, they might sound similar or altogether totally different...BUTT...they were LIVE and we were all sharing the same air! I'm ALL IN on this channel and thanks for saving me a seat! 🤟
