What about if they take with bishops not king
That was not very short!
Ah, the chessnut vs chessnut board game! 🙂 When I will get serious about my chess and play otb more, this board would be a great tool to practice with and develop my 3D vision of the chessboard.
Your opponents all know you play the english as white and are well prepared. Play some goofy opening like 1. g4 or 1.a3 for complete surprise. It worked well for Tony Miles when he answered Karpovs 1. e4 with 1....a6. back in 1980.
If it were that easy to prepare for your opponent...
It worked for MIles... once.
Bro u litteraly made an 2hrs video and only 14 likes?
It was a live stream.
@@AlexandraSamaganova oh k
Bro wtf, white king was on check
By what? King opposition? 😂
🌞🔮✨💓🍀☄🔥🚀🌹👑
Thanks for the post Alexandra. Being Dutch I was wondering how the Dutch Defense got his name. I found this in a chessable blog: 'The origins of the Dutch Defense are unclear, but the name of the opening is believed to originate from a book written by Ellias Stein, published in the Dutch city of The Hague in 1789. In this book, Stein suggested that 1…f5 was actually the best reply to 1.d5.'
Wow, what a strange, no castling, but very exciting game!
я тоже хочу❤
футболку с моим именем? :-)

Ну конечна🤗😊
Nice!!
:-)
Your opponent just gave you the initiative by trading on d4. You followed up with good moves. Bh3 didnt make any sense, didnt stop the queen from attacking b5 pawn since queen could also move to e8. Loved how you finished the game with a simple pin. Well played and looking forward to the rest of your Olympiad games Sasha.
Yes, the ending was good. It's nice to realize that your opponent has no chance!
Ganaste medalla de oro????????
Desafortunadamente, esta vez no... :-(
You are a pro at unboxing!

Thank you for posting this Alexandra! Somehow the Olympiad already feels a long time ago, but it's only 10 days ago that it ended.... This was a great day for the entire team!
Yes, it feels like it was last year! Lol!
So is YT chat the correct chat? 😅 (1:50:32)
Also wrong
🤣
It looks interesting. I am tempted.
Cool

Congratulations 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Many many thanks!
Congratulations for the draw, Alexandra! At some point I thought you will lose 😅 but your opponent didn't find good moves. It surprises me you say your end game is not that good! You're a champ 😊
Thank you! 😄
Great recap, thanks! When watching the game live I remember you took a long time to play Kf1. What alternatives were you considering, or did you havd some doubt about the move?
Thank you for this recap! Great result against a high rated former World Champion. You rock!
Enjoy a lot!! PURA VIDA!!
A couple of days at the Kyrgyzskoye Vzmorie health resort or catching some sunshine along the shores of Issyk Kul should be relaxing enough as preparation for any tournament. Best of luck at Budapest.
Thank you! But I don't think that my managers will approve that plan
If you have a choice between Stiges or NY which would you want?
If I had a choice, it would definitely be New York. I've never been to America, and visiting, especially New York, would be amazing! And, of course, the scale of the event is much more prestigious. But I still have to qualify...
Hoping everything works out for the Best, Wishing You and Your Team All the Best, Much Love A l e x a n d r a . . . 🌞🔮✨💓🍀☄🔥🚀🌹👑👸
Thank you! Yes, I hope that we all make it to Budapest sooner or later. And that everything goes well for our team!
Thank you for the updates! That issue with the visa's will cost the rest of your team some valuable resting time before the first round..... That is not a great way to start the Olympiad 😞
I remember one Olympiad (Baku 2016) when we arrived just a couple of hours before the first round. In the first round, the women's team played against Poland, while the men faced weaker opponents. So... arriving in the middle of the night isn't the worst option, but it's definitely not the best either...
Nice game. Any losses in the speedrun where opponents account gets closed for fair play violation should not be counted.
I’ve already lost many games, but due to my own mistakes. Mostly, I run out of time at the end of the game to convert my advantage since I’m playing with a time control without increment.
congrats
?
Great video as always.
Thank you! :)
Alexandra Samaganova || Chess, your content has a special place in my heart
I would have fallen for that mate.... Nice!
That last knight sacrifice was savage
Instructive game, showing how easy it is to go wrong if you dont keep an eye on king safety.
Indeed
gg, enjoy your videos very much.
We all do
That was a good game I’ve found myself in some of those positions. I have to remember to see the whole board.
First time i hear your lastname. I alwaus misspronounce it
It is a little bit complicated to pronounce
GM Ediz Gurel is a monster at such a young age
What a great game you played under such time pressure. One trap after another to the very end and you avoided them all. Nurgyul will be extra cautious the next time she faces you over the chessboard.
🫠
Way to go Sasha))) Tough match!
NIce to get a draw in the endgame with this time pressure!
Seems like the more I study an learn about Chess, the worse my game gets. I still Love it though.
I think it si Magnus fault
We can't see allá the moves...
Which moves?
@@AlexandraSamaganova the ones that the engine see
Haha, the look an Ian's face! Thanks for posting this Alexandra.
Yes, that Rd3 was a major set back for you. Nice to see part of the official commentary and coverage as well! Thank you for this game review.
no way!!!! Would love to have seen this and play both of you :D
I appreciate the game review. 👍❤
