I hope you had more stuff after this video to the cage.. And have shavings! Guina pigs needs atleast half with shavings.
Yes, we added more to the cage. This video was primarily to show the HDPE material.
Ridge cap used for multi wall polycarbonate?
Our polycarbonate ridge cap should be used with CoverLite Corrugated Polycarbonate. We offer CoverLite Multiwall and Corrugated Polycarbonate panels, each type of panel can be used with a polycarbonate ridge cap.
When using the polycarbonate h channel and u channel for sliding door, how much should we reduce on the width of the polycarbonate pannel so they can fit in?
so great 🎉
stupid video but great butt vewage
good video, besides,we are a polycarbonate sheet factory from China❤ if you need, contact me
Shame it ruins the look though!
What about silicone sealant..I am using the polycarbonate sheet for my aquarium lid..Any suggestions how to use the silicone sealant?
Hello, here is a link to our install guide -> ameriluxinternational.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/pdf-downloads/install-guides/amerilux-multiwall-install-guide.pdf. In the guide, we go over how to use silicone sealant with our material. Let me know if you have any questions, thank you!
Any suggestions for using Dual Wall Polycarbonate Sheets as the Triangles in a Geodesic Dome.
I was looking for help with the H channels. For this layperson they are at best difficult on an 8' vertical sheet on the wall of a greenhouse.
Great video!
what size are the purlins?
2x2 minimum and should be 24inch apart
Best video I’ve seen - concise and easy to understand.
I'm building a greenhouse with polycarbonate sheets. Would I be able to tape the edges and then adhere those taped edges with 100% silicone to keep it leakproof? Would I even need the tape if I'm planning to use the silicone? Thanks in advance!
What if when you put the horizontal strips on and it ends with a low side of the strip? Is that ok?
Wow, you were great before you started drilling then perpendicular went out the window.
Correct drill bit? Never heard of them before
What can I put on the one side where the panel meets the brick wall of the next door building besides silicone to seal it is there some kind of tape I can put over top where it meets The Brick?
What did you end up doing? Im very puzzled
@@mariemariemarie94 I put silicone along the tiny gap between the side of the first sheet only on the left side where it meets the wall of the next door building then I used something I found on Kijiji for cheap called GAF weather watch leak barrier it's peel and stick for roofing it's around 3 feet wide the roll so I had to cut it to around 6 inches by the length I needed and put it on tight so 4 inch was on the wall and 2 inch on the sheet. It's black so you will see it but the wall is black and I painted the side cap of the sheet black so you don't notice it just looks like a small border but only really see it if you know it's there.. havnt had water come threw or trickle down the wall once yet and we had a few intense rainfalls this not so great summer in Ontario. Lots of wind too but so far so good. It's 90$ at home Depot but you get a huge roll 36" x 50' so I paid 40 on Kijiji for almost full roll. Cut my 6inch by 12 feet and one for backup then re sold the remaining roll for 55 online. Can show photos if you wish. I only needed to do the one wall so it wasn't too hard but if you had multiple spots it still seams doable worked for me so far fingers crossed lol :)
If I have a metal drip edge installed, how much overhang should I have?
I thought butyl tape was recommended on the overlaps, not silicone.
Okay.
Stupid explanation
Do you have and Installers in the Bradenton FL area?
what size weep holes
Thumbs up ladies good job.
What about on flat surfaces? Customer wants me to install these on an outside patio gondola. It has 2x2 aluminum strips spanning across which I can fasten the strips onto but idk if I’d need to put maybe some spacers on the side connected to the house to create a pitch. TIA
Arrived while searching for smething else, stayed for the sheer charm I have no doubt these ladies are more than capable, but the presentation was similar to a 7 year old's christmas play, with each stage learnt by rote (I say this, I pause, then you say that - use prop as required) . I'm happy with that, it was vey enjoyable and provided valuable informaton. I'm not going to be a customer, I'm outside of the catchment area. No questions; thank you for the effort; no sarcasm. Very nice. Thank you.
wiped off clean on both sides. Iodine
Building a greenhouse with polycarbonate sheets. Thanks for the tips. How about a demo of adding H and I channels and tape. Thanks again. Rod
I would like to say that it doesn't take long (less than 2 years on mine) and the adhesive on the tape lets go.So if the edge is up inside a channel, that's not a big deal but if the edge isn't trapped inside a channel it IMO is then a problem as the open ends are exposed to airflow, insects dust etc.
I'd love to have been able to watch the entire video, but the quality is soo poor. We need to see clearly when the camera zooms in, and lapel mics take away the echo with the sound.
You may want to increase the picture quality of the video in your RUclips settings. I have to do this frequently when watching videos on my phone.
Still don't know what type screw to use.
Hi can the sheets be layed length ways as well as from top to bottom ??
Thanks a lot for this useful video. I am going to use the Polycarbonate Multiwall panels on a vertical wall application. Trying to understand the best way to seal the edges to prevent water seepage and insects etc
i couldn't hear, women were talking
Does anyone know..is the u-channel only for the bottom of each panel?
I wouldn't personally recommend using a vented lower edge tape or within days the honeycomb polycarbonate roof will be full of spiders, woodlice, slugs, flies, bees and other invertebrates to say nothing of the algae and mould that would soon build up especially in a UK/ Euro climate
I love her haiir !!!
I'd say the upper part should be able to "breath", using the kind of tape the ladies use to seal the lower end. Water vapor rises!
Droplets would drip down though? Lol..im struggling with all this. Have a greenhouse in boxes still cause Im spun over all the additional things I need to get to go above and beyond the 'picture' instructions from China.
This is my opinion also...I'm in the process of fitting my roof and I can't decide whether to fit breather tape on both ends?? Otherwise your going to get a build up of condensation as there is no airflow.... I'm unsure what to do?? They all say solid one end only🤔😩
@@lukestone8592 the lower end being breathable means wet air can enter and condensate, leaving spots, in case the panels are cooler than outside air (at night). That's why solar panels (thermal) are best breathable only on top.
Escape not excape. Stand behind the sheet for more visibility. A better mic or fixing audio in editing would also help. I would prioritize these over synchronizing your voices. Hope this helps.
Feedback for AmeriLux: having two product stickers on every piece is overkill, and they are a giant pain in the ass to remove and leave really ugly residue. Use better stickers. Removing the stickers from six pieces took me almost as long as installing the six pieces.
I might add, it would be nice if the factory cuts were square. Mine are off 1/4" in the width of a panel. How hard can it be to cut a panel square?
I’ll second that
Couldn’t agree more about the labels. Terrible waste of time.
He didn’t put any silicone under
"multiwallpolycarbonatesheet" !! ♥️
What do use to join the together on a timber frame wall?
Very helpful video - thanks!
Thank you for the informative video i thought it was perfect.
You guys are silly 🙃 I like it
What is the best material for TV screen protector Acrylic Or Polycarbonate
Hi how do we remove any sealant marks (after its dried) from poly carbonate when someone does a shoddy job
Polycarb is the shizz! I love Lexan. Such a versatile material! :3
Thank you for the video. How did you support those rafters (rafters flat to the beams)?
Good job. BUT a greenhouse in ground is going to fill with carbon dioxide. CO2 is heavy, it goes to the bottom.
