I've got a r reg boxer I've had to weld the inner and outer sills about 8"deep all the way round the van rear quarters replaced I used galvanised Steele plate thicker gauge than standard I know the dangers of galv and it is not the best weld I've ever done, & to be honest it's a pig to weld but getting there slowly & the welding won't win any prizes but it is solid, after a respray I will waxoyl in all the cavities even though it's galv it will still rust eventually.

I’m doing the same as you rings came out at 0.035 from the box does this sound good

nice job,rebuild my gsi zaffy ,in bristol,seem to of saved mine too,before it died ,head gasket failed,water out of number 4 spark plug hole,head had to be welded ,skimed,local engine place, said ,saved it in time

Yeah getting that way with this one to be honest. Who ever patched it up before I got my hands on it and covered everything in half inch of body filler was an excellent fabricator 😂

I don't envy you having to work on that. I remember customers bring in MOT failures that took away my will to live.

You should not have let your tesla's battery be 0%. Actually you should keep your tesla's battery between 20 and 80~90% in order to keep its battery last longer.
