They were not doing construction that we could see and we were not aware of any events going on at the time. That’s why we thought it was strange.

It was cute! It definitely needs some upgrades but it looked like they were working on it! I wish we would have had a chance to use the pool area more but we enjoyed it!

There were a lot of people rafting and kayaking there! It looked like a lot of fun! We might have to try that sometime lol thank you for watching 😊

The whole town is very pet friendly! Chico was a very spoiled puppers!

You are definitely right. We live right over the NC line. During the off season we like to call this a sundown town! Once the sun goes down the town closes down too! It’s very interesting to see the difference in the strip during the different times of year! That’s why we like to make these videos!

We are local(ish) about 30 minutes from Myrtle Beach and grew up here. Winter is a totally different vibe than summer for sure. It really slows down here. It’s mostly just locals around this time of year but I always think it’s interesting to see what’s happening on the strip. You can always gauge how tourism is in the area by the strip. If it’s busy so is everything else. I really enjoy doing these videos and comparing the different times of year!

I was so scared up there Daniel decided to take the camera 🥹😂 I would have never gone if it wasn’t for him!! He helped me conquer a fear that day! I actually learned some stuff about Tobacco Barning I didnt know! It was neat hearing him explain it with a visual 😂

It has grown a lot!

We hit the strip right after 10 pm we were shocked everything was already closed too. At most it was 10:15 we were home by 11 pm that night and we live in NC just over the state line.

The sky wheel currently closes at 9pm during the week and 10pm on Friday and Saturday nights. I just looked it up. It’s the off season it’s not uncommon for businesses to close early when it’s not busy.

It’s amazing how different it was from last week!

Oh yeah for sure. It’s just interesting the difference a week makes. Our last strip video from last week it was super super busy and this week it was a ghost town!
