Please know that while there is pain and suffering in this world and real love is worth the pain loss (death) or sacrificing something important to us out of love, but God has not called us to a life of abuse. If you are in a relationship with someone who is doing you physical, emotional, or mental harm, get yourself out. If this is a spouse abusing you, you are not breaking your vow, the abuser has already broken it. Get yourself to safety. You can forgive them, but you do not have to put yourself back in that unsafe relationship. Forgiveness does not always mean forgetting. Sometimes remembering is what will keep you safe. Forgiveness will allow your heart to heal and not to become hardened. It is up to the one who hurt you to seek God's help and that of a medical/mental health professional. God offers them forgiveness but it is up to them to receive and change their ways.

Call to Worship: CALL TO WORSHIP One: God, you are a God of invitation. All: You invited Abraham to follow you. One: You invited the disciples to drop their nets. All: You invited the children to draw near. One: You invited Peter to walk on water. All: You invited the tax collector to dinner. One: You invited the Samaritan woman into eternal life. All: Just the same, you invite us to live lives of faith. One: Give us the strength to say yes. All: Let us worship good and holy God. Good morning, Church! I'm always happy to worship with you. Go get your coffee and if you have a hymnal, get it too. Maybe print off the order or pull it up on the side of your screen. I sent you lyrics for the hymns but if you didn't get that email, we are singing, "I Love to Tell the Story" and "Amazing Grace". I think we should have a license for streaming by next Sunday and we can broaden our song choices to hymns that aren't public domain.
