EVERYBODY WITH THIS ISSUE. DOUBLE CHECK THE BLACK FUSE ON THE BATTERY POSITIVE TERMINAL ITS A BLACK BOX SHAPED FUSE. This was my issue and it’s very common, a good way to tell the fuse is bad is by checking your engine bay positive post and if it has little to no voltage, that’s your issue. The electric power steering grabs power directly from this post and if the fuse is bad there won’t be power which will cause your electric power steering to malfunction.

Great video. The breaking of those tabs' tips was gold. It just wasn't fitting right until those tabs were removed.

Yeah probably in another month or two I'm going to order the same tune I have a 2017 S4 and I bought it a few months ago it was a one owner car with 60,000 Mi on it and everything was service on the car with garage kept and it's like a dark navy blue pearl what's a chrome mirrors it's clean like really clean it looks like everybody thinks it's a brand new one so yeah I'm thinking about doing I'm actually a mechanic Certified mechanic so I have other toys but only thing so far I did is I put a cane in air filter in I like it better than the intake was when you take the cover off it's it's it's it's it's it's open anyway it's almost like the same thing and I run Royal Purple what a Royal Purple oil filter can you put it on a Dyno you are getting more horsepower and it does keep the engine a lot cooler to Royal Purple oil then the liquid Molly it keeps the temperature cooler and our cars run hot Toyota technician but the car is already fast so I know it'll be a lot quicker I actually have a 2005 M3 and that has the I run Royal Purple and I have the Kane and filters in it and I have a flash tune in it and that's got about I have about 440 horsepower I have to say it was shocked but my S4 is quicker maybe cuz it's an automatic and you got the quick shift paddles and and the way it shifts but it's quicker so I'm definitely going to get to stage one

That rattle is timing chain noise. It's present on 50% of the 3.0Ts. It's upper timing chain tensioners that bleed off oil and on cold starts the chain makes noise. there is an Audi tsb and you shouldn't worry unless the rattle last more than 3 seconds than you would need chain tensioners. TSB number 15 15 26 2039995/1 . Clean S4 regardless I own a b8.5 S4 also.

Man I really love those s4 b8.5 had on in the exact same configuration but I had an issue. When starting from full stop the gearbox was jerking somehow, form full stop the rpms fall just a but and then go but with a slight stall.

For what it’s worth the liquimoly fluid in my BMW DCT. (335 N54) is pretty good. I will probably use liquimoly in the Audi dsg when I get the filters and fluid changed on my Q5 (daily driver 2.0 diesel.) Good job changing the mech too.
