great dane growls like this every time he plays with german shorthaired pointer.
This is COOL. I've got one sitting in my garage. Wish I had something to clean it up
Great to see old tools being restored and put to use again. Awesome!
I was brought up not to clean antiques...😢
Bgm was annoying but nice video otherwise and beautiful bag! Currently making my first bag so getting ideas. Thanks!
Brilliant!!
Wow.. i love the bag
Best Beer for me
Nice job! 👍🏼 G
the first 11 seconds sold me on this video. i love a little bit of silliness
That’s a beast of a machine. Love the music (from the machine 😉)
Very nice bike, Im 57 and race old hare scrambles, all the bikes have to be vintage - say, 1970 - 1980… have a chance to get one, fully restored from the ground up/ for dirt riding only… $1200, is it worth it? Thanks sir
Where can I buy/order the satchel you showed in your video?
Fantastic work. What weight leather are you using?
Just got that exact bike, hell yeah.
Good and heavy satchel. Nicely done. Some of the tools you have are cool. Lots of beefier versions of the thing I've seen.
Hi, i recently acquired one of these planes (mine has a different lever cap but it's the same model). The lateral adjustment lever on mine has lots of free play in both the horizontal and vertical direction. Does yours/Is this normal? Thanks for the video.
That is some MONSTER Machine
How much a 1973 in super condition goes for?
What oil and grit stone did you use?
Unbelievable. love your work. you are an inspiration.
I dont mean to be off topic but does someone know a trick to log back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot my password. I would appreciate any help you can give me.
@Ashton Jairo Instablaster =)
@George Kingsley i really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@George Kingsley It worked and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy! Thank you so much, you saved my ass!
@Ashton Jairo glad I could help :D
That machine is a beast!
Music is bang on, we would benefit from more detailed explanation of what you use/how you do things.
Jarosław Kuś thanks for the input, friend!
Nice but you just cleaned it . Where is restoration ??????
otto cunko sorry to disappoint! Thanks for watching anyway!
wow very impressive. everyone loves leather. ur work is fabulous. as a stroke survivor with limited use in my left hand i have re learned to knit and knit alot for charity. i was wondering if you would be able to make me a knitting bag either round or rectangular with lots of pockets some inside and a zipper or snap closure. omg i know im asking alot but would cherrish it 4ever. i knit everyday until my left hand tells me its done 4 the day. im typing w one finger on right hand. thx 4 reading this. i hope u will make me one send to me in nova scotia. thx karen. ty 4 making the vid to show us ur talent...karen in nova scotia
Cleaning up rust and making everything shiny and polished (or painted) is nice. What is missing for a complete restoration is making sure the plane's sole is flat, and the sides are at 90 degrees to the sole? And, flattening the iron's backside then honing the bevel. For small parts (in case of this little plane perhaps for all the parts including the body) I would recommend Evaporust rather than wire wheel. It dissolves the rust but doesn't remove any more metal than is necessary. Plus, you can reuse Evaporust many times, so it lasts a long time.
Thank you for your insight, I will run my next project past you to ensure it meets your standards before posting it as restoration. Thanks for viewing
@@passengerswelcome1847 I see you are a master of sarcasm. Just trying to share what few things I know. Sorry if it sounded like a criticism.
No worries, I'm just a guy making videos after work, during my coveted free time.
Thank you. I’m doing one today. Never thought about a primer coat. I’ve got some so why not?
I have the same exact stapler and would like to use it so need staples. Are they available and if yes what is the size. THX
When will people learn that it’s the patina on objects that gives them their value. This is now worthless.
PLEASE re-edit the music. Great video but the music doesn't match AT ALL. Feels like I;m in a circus in the 1920's
@LONDONxULTRA nah music def needs a bit of adjustment. Death metal is more in tune with the video imo
Whats the song used in the video?
very difficult to see what you are doing as the video is so poorly lit.
Just picked up one for restoration. Can anyone tell me what the front knob adjuster is for?
Ted Finkenauer it is for adjusting the mouth size
Deaano7 thanks. After removing all the rust I saw the separation and was able to move the frozen toe plate. Pretty amazing little plane. Thanks
Great job man!! Great job!! Thanks for sharing. What machine is that? I love it!!!
Thank you Daniel's work is second to none! It is a randall union lockstitch
you can share your lovely template
love your work , You are so talented .
Where did you find the paper stop thing?
Wow! Amazing workmanship! Subscribed! T-Wrecks
Thank you!
I dig it, I'm working on a no. 2 right now. Pretty cool staplers
Hi, what size staples does a no. 2 need
@@eljefe6013 I'm not sure but they are pretty small, the next time I get down to work on it I will measure them
@@timsmith1589 that would be so helpful. Thanks so much
@@eljefe6013 no worries, I take it you have one too
@@timsmith1589 yes
Good video. I like the way you use nails to hold the position of the leather before stitching. I don't have a walking foot machine yet, but I'm going to use the nails to hold leather for hand stitching.
You didn't open. clean and adjust the throat plate. Shame on you ☺
Very satisfying to watch, and listen to! 👌
Thank you

How to order pls.

Nice Job. I just picked up a model #84. Just started the restoration process. Hopefully mine will look and work as good as yours. Thanks for posting the process.
Nice way to use up scraps !
Thanks, just a simple little project
Great video, well done. Do you know what year your model is?
It's is a model 86 splitter, I will do a little research and try and find year it was made. Thanks for the positive feedback
